In wich there is the full explenatione of the gargoyle race?
What template is better to use ( a tamer? A warrior) or..?)

Gargoyles cant use mounts, they can fly however to move at mount speed. Gargoyles can only use rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces of the existing items, they cannot equip any other armor other than gargoyle armor, and do not have feet or head and another slot i don't remember, they have a better chance to enhance items, they have inborn knowledge of throwing and imbuing, they have a race trait called berserk which improves offense at the cost of defense when they are injured.

As for templates, id say crafter gives them some nice bonuses, and aside from that anything is fine, except taming, cause they can't mount. Although currently flying doesn't take a control slot, so they can move at mount speed with a GD, or a pack of osterds.

This may not all be 100% accurate, but its close.

Don´t worry too much about what is best to use. Just play what you enjoy playing the most...

As for templates, id say crafter gives them some nice bonuses, and aside from that anything is fine, except taming, cause they can't mount.

Also dragon can't be mount but for a tamer having a good GD is great.

when in flight you lose stamina at a much faster pace than human or elf. in fact it would take 80 points in focus or 8 stamina regeneration on gear to negate this. flight is good as a mad dash for freedom/safety or to run into a house. Flight stinks when running to almost anywhere in fel lost lands, ilshenar. Also since you do not cannot mount a pet you dont have a choose gotta fly for a few seconds then walk rest of way.

rings, earrings, bracelets, necklace for gargoyles can be imbued with a lot of resists. they do not have hands either. So they have arms, chest, and they can equipt to armor grade TWO leg pieces. why? who knows but they can.
