From the FoF :
Will there be disadvantages with Throwing with distance..like if you're too close will you do less damage or none at all?
There are two things to keep in mind when using a throwing weapon, which are closely tied to distance to your target. Up close, you will find that it's harder to hit an opponent with a throwing weapon, while at the farthest ranges, your throwing weapon will have slowed down as it begins to return to you, so it will hit with less force and do less damage.
Something does not add up to me.......
"

Lots of misses when throwing at a close range it seems.......

Very low damage at long range it seems.........
Hmmm, so close is not good, far is not good, when is throwing eactly good then ??
I would assume mid range but does this mean that in the middle of a fight one needs to count the tiles and position accordingly from the target for best effect ?
Sounds not an easy offensive skill to deal with.......
By the way, are the differences significative or marginal ?
That is, is it worth the hassle to count the tiles for best results or the differences are so marginal one can well not bother ?
