Open Beta on a trial account?

Can you participate in the open beta if you are currently using a trial account?

Trial accounts are not able to log on to Retribution. To participate in the Open Beta you must be a current subscriber.

Ive been a subscriber for a few years (7) and still cant get into retribution.
Had a look on UO website, done every thing that needed to be done and still can not get into beta

Did you download the special "Beta-Enabled" 2D client?
