houses 1 per account

i think uo should redo the housing situation and let every account that plays on more than 1 shard they should be able to place a house on every shard that they play, and to make it better everyhouse that an account places on other shards that the house owner should have to log in on that account for a couple hrs each month. ive been on uo for going on 10 yrs and i think that would help the returing players as well as existing players

I think we should be allowed two houses, per account, two seperate shards of choice. Any size, no restrictions and definitely NOT have to refresh the second house. Too often, things happen IRL that interfere with gameplay. If I'm in the hospital, I'm not going to be thinking about that house refresh every two weeks.

Also, how many people play more than two shards regularly? A house on your main and another on one other shard should be sufficient. All my opinions, of course.

No, the land should not be taken up by a bunch of people who do not play. being able to place a house is kinda nice... no one needs hoarding spaceon every single shard.

I gotta disagree with this, ive heard arguments for ages on siege about allowing an extra house over there.

My conclusin was just no. There are already to many disused houses around which havent fel(people still paying i guess) that to allow more would be insane.

If...IF it was allowed it to me would have to be back to the refresh way of old, which if memory serves was a month from start to fall.

Yeah, I vote no. Want an additional house, then get an additional account. Not trying to be mean, housing just really needs to be limited to one per account. I mean if I could have a house on every shard then whats stopping me from grabbing up prime realistate and holding on to it till I sale it?

One house per account just works better, those people hoarding houses hoping to make a buck off of it have to eventually decided "Crap I've already spent $300 holding this darn house, is it worth it?".

I ended up activating my other account, so I can have a house both on Siege and Europa

It's on auto refresh in UHall. We have it every week.

I'll say the same thing I always say when this topic comes up: 486 housing tiles per account. That comes out to 1 castle, 1 18x18 plus anther 142 tiles left, or 6 9x9's.

Regardless, it will never happen because players would cancel accounts that are just holding houses and EA/Mythic would lose alot of money.
