How many hedges was it that I need to repay you? I forget exactly, but I keep thinking 16, or somewhere thereabouts. I'm curious because from the looks of it, at least seven of the hedges from that bag of seeds I got from an idoc have sprouted short. So I may be able to repay you in short ones instead of tall

all lined along the front minus 2 for the steps = 16.

Plus three from the side of the yard.

Short is fine, 16 of them, or tall, 16. The other three dont matter as long as they are the same.
