I decided to put this here rather than the SA board because it's about current content more than it's about Stygian Abyss.
There are certain items, certain artifacts and set pieces, that currently are of only limited use that will go from "limited use" to "no use" once Imbuing hits.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially if your intent is to make certain artifacts exist only as ingredients for Imbuing.
Don't get me wrong, I feel many artifacts, sets, and other "special" items will retain some degree of usefulness, because unlike Imbued items they will be PoF-able, and thus can last forever.
However, there are some items that are such a pain in the ass to get, and will become so out-of-date when Imbuing hits, that I have to wonder if it's a good idea to beef them up. It is entirely possible to modify items already in the game, they have done it before. Once upon a time, people woke up to find the base damage on their Talon Bites reduced, and the PoF-ability of their replica "Detective" boots taken away.
I don't know if it's really a good idea to mod these items or not. But here's some of these items, and some ideas on how to modify them.
I'm sure there's others.
And keep in mind that I am not saying it's a good idea to modify these items, I'm just floating the notion.

- Blade of the Righteous. This one is barely useful even now. Maybe add some SSI, and/or FC1, or HCI, or some combination, to make it more useful.
- Juggernaut Set. Maybe add 15 HCI to go with the DCI, or add FC1, or even FC2.
- Dryad Bow. I have no idea how to save the Dryad Bow. The invasion bows have all-but-killed them as it is, they are useful only to folks who want an additional skill bonus.
- Frostbringer. Add FC1. Honestly this should have been so-added years ago. Or maybe some SSI
I'm sure there's others.
