FIX GREATER EXPLOSION POTS with new client!

you can throw like milions of pots in a second , it's really stupid.

Fix it at once before realising Stygian Abyss.

Simply put a timer of 10 seconds among each greater explosion.

You could carry 16 stacks of 60,000, and one of 40,000.
But, as you say, there would be weight concerns.
Plus, you'd need 10,000,000 sulfurous ash to make them all. Awful lot of work for a second's worth of damaging (even if the damage caused would be staggering)

I think it would tear a hole in the space time continuum. It would be the REAL armageddon spell not some weaksauce blue puff of smoke!!!

Oh man, I had forgotten about that!

We used to put 10 potions in a crate, then axe the crate (which would cause the potions to all fall to the ground in one spot). Then, throw one other purple potion at the pile and BOOOOOM! Insta kill anyone within like 4 tiles as all 11 Greater Explosions went off at once.

Ah alas the chain-reactions were removed... those were the days (this was like 1998).

(kidding aside - these sorts of controls have to be server side in my opinion - client side controls are an open invitation for people to hack the client)

Considering several people you know have the ability to throw multiple pots that explode on contact what exactly do you see as the problem? On one hand I say this levels the playing field against scripters and cheaters, on the other hand you call foul. Please explain?

dont listen to this newb hes just mad that i killed him many times lastnight with exp pots and there is no bug and i was not useing the new client just plain old mondains legacy 2d and i was useing uo assist i was throwing 3 one after another ..... not even fast.... what about running??? ever try that instead of standing there like a fool getting blown up

Please explain how you can throw three delayed pots at a time...UO assist does not allow this function. The only way possible to throw delayed pots is either by hand one at a time or else with the help of illegal third party add ons (like the ones used by the guild the OP belongs to.)

I do find it ironic hearing complaints from said guild tho. Delayed pots, running faster than the wind, moving thru impassable objects, scripts, no trees...

UO assist does allow this. There used to be a sticky in the Alchemist forum before it died about how to set it up.

You can set up single potion, double potion or triple potion macros. They all go off at the same time and actually target your last target even while you are running. It is complex to set up but it certainly works with 2d and UOassist. I'll scout around and see if I can find it reposted somewhere.

I have no idea if the stacking changes...of 83?...broke the macro. It used to work quite well but it has been several years since I used it.

just leave the exp pots the way they are i think throwing 3 pots one after another is perfectly fine and adds alchemy into pvp .... its totally fair in my oppinion might only be because im useing it tho..... but id say its as fair as a tamer haveing greater hiru hitting for 50-60 damage on a dismount with a orc brute hitting 35 damage and a armour ingore for 35 damage all at same time......
