I got a question about hide/stealth

How can a player hit me with meteor swarm while i'm hidden?And how do i get around it?Thank you.

So i read both of the threads.And i'm confused.

Can i get any info from a PvP god?

I actually had that happen earlier today at an idoc. I'm going to assume that it's an issue with target last or another target macro. I was hit with an earthquake and then after a little while, they tracked me and started hitting me with meteor swarms as I was trying to stealth away.

Its a projectile area effect, so it hits things in stealth as well as visible, kinda like earthquake but with limited targets. Only way to by pass it is to stay out of the casted area XD

He hit me with earthquake at first, then i'm across the screen from him and the fireball hit me DIRECTLY there was no animals or anything else for him to target.

Indeed, you don't have to target something with meteor swarm, you just have to target in the area of the target.

To get away from earthquake you need to be up off the ground as the eq will only affect you if your feet are on the ground. I remember shadow striking REV or KOC whatever the name of the month was at that time just to pick at them and have something to do cuz I knew if anyone could catch me it would be them...and i remember sitting on top of the bridge after a successful shadow jump in Luna laughing at them watching them spam eq and reveal. I was right over the top of them laughing irl.

So yeah if you use shadow jump it will open a lot more doors as far as escaping goes.

haha Bo is pretty sure Bo is to blame for both of these cases. Bo loves it. Here is Bo's ancient chinese secret.
1. Get 120 magery and 120 eval int
2. Be human or pick up tracking
3. Track for animals, humans or monsters
4. Play stupid (this is easy for people like cheapy) pretend that you dont have your mark on tracking.
5. When mark comes onto your screen earthquake try to be as close as possible to them so they cant stealth outta range.
6. Now you should have hit them with the eq, cast meteor swarm.
7. Target infront of the tracking arrow with your cursor.
8. Collect your loot from people who are too lazy to figure anything out for themselves. Really log onto test and try it out with a friend if you have any.

Really Bo, you don't need to be rude about it. I for one have never actually used Meteor Swarm before, so I didn't know how it worked until testing it out last night. I've never complained about being killed by you before, and I'm sure it's probably happened a few times, but I'd never understood how it worked. Now, after testing, and your explanation of it, I feel like a total idiot
