Items removed from corpse...how?

I found and killed Molly earlier, she had to use the "help stuck" menu to rez. I was able to grab 5k+ silver from corpse before everything just disappeared, leaving the body intact ( not bones as if collecting body at location ).

I want to know if anyone could tell me how to do it. Log out and in should only bring dragon to you, not items as well. Are they faction blessed? If so, why did they drop to corpse in the first place?

Is there a virtue in virtue gump that allows this?

Gift of Life doesn't give your items back on rez, you still have to click on corpse.

I dont know how Sacrifice behaves, as I am a murderer, I never have the pleasure of using it.

I am thinking that because she used the "help stuck" menu option, that it teleported her body with her, because if she was really stuck, the devs know you wouldn't be able to return to body to gather items. Did they program it to work like the lich room in Doom, where it teleports items corpse and all to a set location?

I have used help stuck while a corpse before too, and never had my items teleported to me, so that doesn't make sense either.

I got the silver I was after, so I only feel slightly cheated, but i want to know how this is done, is it an expoilt? A programming error?

Does Sacfrice give everything back to you on rez?

Players who progress any number of steps on the path of Sacrifice, but do not continue to actively pursue it, may discover that this Virtuous title reduces in steps over time. Gaining steps in Sacrifice will grant a character the ability to resurrect himself a number of times each week, equal to the steps achieved in Sacrifice. Players will be able to access this ability by clicking the Sacrifice symbol on their own Virtue gump.

First step: Self-resurrect one time per week
Second step: Self-resurrect two times per week
Third step: Self-resurrect three times per week

There will be certain notable benefits & caveats of self-resurrecting:

Players will be able to instantly resurrect their characters which have achieved any number of steps on this path of Virtue.
Self-resurrecting characters will not suffer any stat or skill loss normally associated with “insta-resurrection.” However, effects such as Murderer-based stat-loss, Faction-based stat-loss, etc., will still apply.
Self-resurrected characters will only have 1 Hit Point and 1 Mana Point upon resurrection, just as if he was resurrected by a healer, friend, or shrine.
Characters which self-resurrect will instantly recover all the items they had on their corpse, except for any items which have been looted or decayed.
Self-resurrecting characters will not be able to recover items in this way if they move across a server boundary into another server region. Characters in this situation will receive a notice to his effect before allowing such a self-resurrection.
Characters will not be able to self-resurrect:
…within a “multi-object” (a house, boat, etc.).
…within a faction stronghold
…while flagged as a criminal or aggressor

Yet, it has been this way for years... Players learn the game.

It was that way before I quit 4 years ago and I thought it was BS then. It does not belong here. Back door entrances into dungeons should not be here.
Faction recall runes should not be here. I know the game. I daresay I'd drop you 10 outta ten.

Thank you all for the info... I never knew that ( never used the ability ), and never had that happen before.

Now I know, and I'll be sure to loot quicker next time instead of take screen shots :D.

I thank ye kindly! :)

Now I have about 15k silver sitting around waiting for me to make faction traps!

I don't buy nor ever have bought any faction gear.
