My last "expansion" was 7th Anniversary... What do I need to buy or download to be able to play it all?

You don't need to buy anything. They just made the Mondain's Legacy expansion available to all active accounts. The Stygian Abyss expansion should be coming out relatively soon.

Ok, I am getting nervous now. I checked "MyUO" on the official site and it lists no characters at all for me. It was four years since I logged on. Did they delete my chars?

Or do I just need to log on again?

You just need to log in. It will only show chars logged in within the past 30 days I think.

My UO will not show them, but if you left them in game and did not delete them they will be there when you log in. Are you in 2d? I have played 2d since 99 and I am used to the 2d interface. The KR interface just gets me all confused after playing 2d for so many years. Sad to say the UOAM will not be updated to the next exp as the owner left UO after the last one, so when SA comes out there will be many players playing the new lands without map help. Unless they download and play the new client. Myself I really don't like it, just to much like the KR client and to confusing for a player that been used to the 2d interface.

It would be sweet if EA took over UOAM and also upgraded it to the next exp, but that will never happen.

Wouldn't you rather they built those features directly into the client? I'd prefer that to running external apps. Maybe the modders could help.

Yep - Mondain's Legacy (ML) downloading it now on a new computer. The download is free at Game Planet. Account must be active to play.

Thanks for all the helpful tips all! I am playing the 2D client. I always prefered that one.

I haven't looked into the new client yet. Is the graphics different? I really like the good old 2D graphics...

I installed from my "Ultima Online 7th anniversary edition" and after patching I got two clients:
- Ultima Online AoS UO2D (Says Mondains Legacy on startup screen)
- Ultima Online AoS3D

I play on the first one of them and when I tried starting the 3D client it wouldn't even take my accountname/password and I don't think it is patched at all.
Is that an obsolete client or is that the same one that is called Kingdom Reborn?

It's an obsolete client; at this time, if you want to try 3d, you should go for SA beta client, which I believe is available to everyone.

No they are going to keep the 2d client. If you want to test something dl the SA client and try it.
