replacment for an ornate for the event

SO looking at getting a wep with armor ignore to replace my ornate, for the event.

I am thinking bladed staff?

or should I go one handed.

also if I dont plan on curse wep during the big fight, should i drop SS and redo anatomy for the damage bonus?

You have a few options. Cutlass, cleaver, and executioner's axe all have armor ignore as a special move, as well as the bladed staff.

Yes. You should always be swapping SS for Anat if you're not using Curse Wep.

well I was thinking bladed staff cuase it has the best dps for a 2 hander with AI my drop from ornate will be about 8 points and I am hoping AI more than makes up for it.

So far other than lucky blackrocks ive only got one cloak after many tests, and most dexers I see getting them are using alot of AI.

Now the bladed staff is not popular so let me put it this way, if you could burn a val hammer, for the final battle what would you make lol.

well I can see why, as I would not need parry freeing up more skill for damage, howeverim not sure I feel confortable turning saris into an archer, though in the past he did eat a 120 archery, also I have it on a soul stone at 115 so I would have time but...

I started Saris many many years ago and he has always been a swordsmen, I have no realy suitable bows and I dont realy want to plop a bunch a gold in luna for a heartwood kit or pay the crazy price ive seen most uber bows.

so 120 archery, tact, bush, 100 necro, 100 anatomy rest in shiv?

Why not swords I know I can top archry damage with an ornate most of the time, I swing at max, I am hard to kill. would the 8 point to 10 point drop in damage plus the AI not be able to keep up?

the problem with the events ive noticed is the lag is so great that a warrior has a hard time getting close enough to hit the monsters.
an archer tho, can lag out and stand a few tiles away and still be shooting.. even if the mosnster moves.

yesterday i completely locked up while fighting one of those shadow guys and by the time i logged back in it was dead, i had a marty and loot rights.

You don't have to. At minimum, you can still kick ass with a bow that just has DI, 30+ SSI, and mana leech. With that, you can score in the top damagers consistently.
