Simplifying the hierarchy of entitlements is always good in my books.

Don't forget! Having the Mondain's Legacy game client does not mean you are entitled to play the new content. For that, you will need a Mondain's Legacy Upgrade Code or Account Creation Code. Those are on sale at....

That's an archived webpage much like the other expansions that have come out in the past. These will always be in their original state.

I'll take a look into this. However, I believe it's just the content portion that has been made available.

EDIT:
While reviewing for the 6th character slots it appears that it was only available in the 7th anniversary edition. Only the named expansions not the anniversary editions have been made available to all players.

It says it upgrades you to 7 (on uogamecodes page) - no matter how many you had before. So if you have 5 you will get 2 additional slots.

Anyway, I had a guildmate come back after a long hiatus and paid yesterday to upgrade 3 accounts to ML. He just opened a support ticket, maybe they will be really nice and do him good.

I just think they are adding the Mondain's Legacy to help combat the "troubled times". Seems all games are doing something to help out (or boost sales, or stop the bleeding).

Nevertheless, I am willing to wait for SA expansion. Now that they have the ToT events and Shadowlords to keep us busy I don't mind. Now that the SA Client beta is out, that's keeping me busy (and excited). I am having a ball.

Please don't rush SA expansion or the final release of the SA "Enhanced" Client.

Think thats bad.. I cant even get the banner to download on the site..all I get at the top of the page is a black section that keeps flickering Ultima Online off and on..guess thats where the banner is suppose to be. It downloads the picture about 1/3 of the way and gets stuck.

Naw, no sarcasm. And I will not be opening a ticket to get any money back. UO is a great game. I am happy to spend a few bucks to help keep it around for all of us.

And the poster who suggested that the line on itmes for the ML requirement should be removed. Thats a great suggestion, since every account now has the upgrade.

I feel something similar but ..

...perhaps the Mondain Legacy Auto Upgrade will stop players from closing older accounts, like mine, that haven't been upgraded for years because upgrades for every expansion for every account over the years costs too much. I am now able to keep two very old obsolete accounts that I was about to terminate! I had stopped using the characters on those accounts, each with hard earned skills because they couldn't access all the dungeons and areas of the newer expansions. I kept them only for storage in classic houses and turned all characters into storage mules (backpacks and banks or extra stable slots for tamers)

all accounts will soon need SA Expansion upgrade!

Definitely.. that property no longer serves any purpose and should be removed.

Sorry Morgana... while they gave away all of the expansion content - one of the character slots was from an anniversary edition and not an expansion. The other is a "sold separately" account upgrade and was also not linked to an expansion. No extra slots with this give-away.
