Devs can you plesae make the new dyes stackable (even if its in stacks of 10). They are taking up way too much storage.

either that or if u drag a dye onto the same color dye then it should create one bottle with 2 uses, and so on

Honestly, just turn them in or use them.

Believe it or not there was a time when players didn't look at a situation in which they horded too much junk and demand more space.

During those days players kept what was most valuable to them.

It only hurts the economy for players to be amassing tons and tons of everything. It reminds me of the "grazing on the public green problem...."

Every game tweak I've ever known to make a given item type stackable has only ever affected items spawned after the patch.

Meaning if they try to make the dyes stackable, it'll only affect those dyes that appear between now and the end of the ToT event.

Which is tomorrow.

Go figure.

While this could be true on other items, that's totally out of question for dyes.
It's not a question of hoarding. I have a pigment of tokuno which had 50 uses. A dark green one. I'm not hoarding it, I regularily use it to dye new parts of armor when I find better for my suit. The uses slowly wear off. But I know if I find a new part of armor I can dye it, even if ToT don't drop anymore. I would hate to have to throw away a good part of armor because of that, or have to wear a robe to hide the horrors of AoS itemization.

We have one of the only game that allows that much customization of the avatar. And this time the tokuno dyes have decent colors. So frankly, let's not waste it!

or gives us colored kegs so we can combine pigments of the same color. The keg can take the slot in the major arty gump that was used for the 10 charged TOT II pigments. To get a full set of kegs of the 11 different colors, one will need to turn in 110 minors. The colors should be avialable to be used directly from the keg or we will need empty dye bottles.

To make it better, how about expand the keg for TOT II pigments and hair dyes as well?

If the keg is hard to program, how about charged dye tub?

Keep it simple. Just make them stackable. How about making Blackrock stackable too!

I totally disagree. I see what you mean, but armor changes over time. It gets better. A lot of us actually enjoy the colors we use, and we use it so our characters can be known by the outfits at different places. There's really no way to just use them when we don't even have the things now we will use them on.

I want to still be using some of these colors 10 years from now if I get ready too.

I went to the trouble to go get them, and theres just no real reason for 1 color to have 50 uses and another to have 50 bottles for the same thing.

Its nice to be able to disagree, but still be respectful of someone elses opinion.

I'd like a TOT turn in of 100 for a dye tub. Hit the dye tub with a dye bottle and it turns that color and shows 1 charge. Then the same dye color can add more charges. Maybe a bit much for the code mages. The next TOT they can add in a wild bottle that just adds 10 charges to any tub color. Not like they can't make an any color 10 charge bottle drop like the mempo.

How about giving us the major with 10 charges? You must turn in 10 dyes of the same color to get a 10 charge major of that color.

Could you please name that time? It HAD to have been for the very short period during which there was no housing.

Considering that there didn't used to be any storage limit at all on housing, yeah, many times players have been forced to make those decisions, but I would bet that by and large, players ONLY make those decisions when they're out of space.

And since Mythic should be making decisions that allow players to keep items without making decisions over resource-style items, I certainly am a sider in the belief that they should make as much stackable as is possible and as makes sense.
It only hurts the economy for players to be amassing tons and tons of everything. It reminds me of the "grazing on the public green problem...."
No, it really doesn't. It might hurt the full-timers who are able to amass such ridiculous amounts of these things who are therefore hoping and praying to increase their fortunes by selling such to those who don't have such time to play... if it weren't for the fact that they TOO could stack more, and therefore would be able to hold more of them for future sales than they presently can.

However, the idea that since I have 3 chaos blue bottles, and allowing them to stack so I can save them for a future use, that I'm somehow not going to want MORE chaos blue bottles just because they stack is a false argument. My desire for something has very little to do with whether or not they can stack, if it's a resource-style item.

Now, if you want to argue that armors or weapons or chairs or whatever shouldn't be stackable, I'm all with you on that.
