Yeah, that's frustrating. You can never rely on the team to stick to dates, but this is the first time in a while I have seen them post an extension, publicize an end date, then take it back and cut it short for a week. Maybe if we accept they are unreliable, we can never be disappointed.

I don't think many if any overly care about the Major arties dropping. Most have enough minors to get every major arty from the Tokuno event 20 times over. I have close to 2k Minor arties + pigments and thats after selling a great deal of them early on in the event.

The down side of this I would imagine that the chance of getting a Mempo has gone down a bit with the additional items added to the chance to drop equation.

What??? Aggghhh! Noooooo! I was relying on the 31 Jul end date. I started a char on a new shard for me (Pacific) and was depending on 31 July to give me time to get him sufficiently built so he can collect the 10 minors for a Rune Beetle Carapace himself before ToT ends. So much for that plan.

Very unlikely. They did it in order to push the story arc forward probably. And as players are assisting (slaughtering) shadowlords, I am assuming we will get some really nice rewards out of all these Amagadom spamming mess.

I think they already have a date in mind for SA and the tweeking of the duration of tot may be to fit that schedule .... Atleast thats what I would do! why shorten everything so we all have time to start complaining were is SA...

I realize a lot of people have managed to get a couple of thousand minors but not everyone has. When the date was the 18th I and I am sure alot of others made plans on how to get them and what they could or could not do. When the date was extended I changed the plans, again like alot of other players. Now, the plans need to be changed again. However while it is relatively easy to plan for an extension, it is much more difficult when the date is moved forward. I am afraid UO dropped the ball. Many players will be upset over the change, the second one, to the event and wonder if they can trust any dates given including those concerning release dates etc.

If it's because the beta testers aren't giving enough attention to the beta, there are other solutions to that.

There is something funny going on here, methinks... This date change plus the fact that 5 megs and an actual publish to address the cream pie issue (which would also mark the quickest response ever to an issue) seem a tad excessive.
It would be great if a dev could comment, really.

Wow....for the first time ever I will complain about something the developers are doing...I will be on the road on the 23rd so I can be at my destination on the 31st for the end of the event...so now I will be on the road for the end of the event? o.o Oh well....Not much lost except some story line, and maybe the final battle? Which is more or less more story line. Oh well, perhaps this is a good sign at least, or I hope. lol
