Shadow Lord and Energy Vortex confusing

While using my tamer and my greater dragon at the shadow lord I notice while pressing ctrl and shift that both the shadow lords name and bar and all the energy vortex name and bar are exactly the same color.

• Sometimes with all the players, pets and what have you by mistake while doing the all kill macro I target someones energy vortex instead of the shadow lord.

Please note I have no paladin skills I do not use UO Assist or any third party program. I notice while changing the color of a murderers in the options also changes the color of the energy vortex hence still making them both the same color. Anyway I have one request can you make an option to make murderers and energy vortex bar and name both a different color from each other so we can tell the difference by doing ctrl and shift thanks Devs.

Personally, I think there should be options as to what kinds of tags you see when you hit CTRL-SHIFT. If you want to see everything or break it down per type.

I second that. Also, Energy Vortexes (especially the ones *I* summon) really shouldn't be considered "enemies" as far as targeting goes.

Corpse
NPC
NPC Vendor
Mobile

We need to be able to switch those on the fly with a hot key. If you want something else to show, play the SA beta and submit a suggestion.

i do not mean to be a spoil sport, but click like a mad person to get the ones off you don't need. or just say all guard me and cast an area effect spell.

Changing a clients abilities, when you can't find an alternate solution to a problem, is not the answer.

note i don't take a tamer to the SL's.

Have you tried the target system in the 2d client?
It's listed in your options menu to turn it on. Same place you make Macros, it's down at the bottom.

Once the target system is turned on you can make a macro to SelectNext, with the options of Hostile, Follower, Party, Mobile.

Simply hitting this macro button, will run you all the mobiles in the area. For the Shadow Lords, cast an area spell or throw a pot and make the Macro SelectNext -> Hostile.

Again this is in the 2d Client, not the SA Beta or KR.

How would I set up a macro to throw a spell like flamestrike at the SL without having their bars or anything up? Been playing around with it, but can't seem to get my char to target and then throw a spell at anything

1st Line .... Cast Spell -> Flame Strike
2nd Line ... Wait For Target
3rd Line .... Attack Selected Target. (if that doesn't work try...)
..or.. Current Target

This assumes that you have already run the previous macro (previous post) so you are targeting the Shadow Lord

The other thing that has always irritated me (being a chronic healer/vetter in group slaughter situations) is how thin the tags are, and that they move so much. Yes, Lady Mel is running around like a madwoman. I am aware of this. Now stand still so I can grab your $%#@*&$^% bar, woman!
