Thread Issues :/

Ok, so I take out my necro to Magincia to gather the threads. They are falling and I am happy.....some of them are stacking others are not....I know I know....they only stack if they have the same message on them. I double click I read the message, I find another one with same message and it will NOT stack Also, I am trying to explain to people why they won't stack, when they double click them, they see nothing. Hmmmm, I logged on with another of my chars and, wow, she can't read these threads either. So my question is, why can only certain chars read the threads and why won't they stack even with same message? I know somebody has the answer, please help me. Thank you.

From what I read here, there are about 10 threads of each type. They say you can visibly tell the difference.

The like ones will stack once you get matches. You do not need them to stack to do the quest or get the cloak.

I have never talked to the threads or heard them speak though.

It "should be" 16 different "stackables" for each "type" of thread, so basically there are 16 threads of fate, 16 threads of life, and 16 threads of thought.

Now as to why you can not read them, I am not sure what you are talking about. I think the "spirit speak" post was saying you have to use spirit speak to get the threads of life...Not sure if that is what they meant tho.

each of the threads has a message, yes...... I was certain during the Moonglow event that the sayings would have some effect on how the threads would be used later on and even bagged them all up according to what they said, getting frantic in the process if I had a low count of one saying

but you are correct, even threads with the very same saying will sometimes not stack, and I have no idea why

The threads are "read" by double-clicking them. This, however, does nothing if you don't have Spirit Speak.

Well I know I have at least 14, I think life, and I gave 2 piles away. It is possible that they are just 4 singles from moonglow?

Very much possible. The threads from Moonglow do not stack with the ones that are now dropping in Magincia. The new threads were fixed to be able to stack while the others weren't.

I have only farmed in Maginica and I've had the same problem where ones of the same type will not stack. Because I generally work on one type of them at a time if I can (sometimes it works) but even then I'd have a lot of individual stacks. They aren't stackring right
