Spaces in pet names

Is there any way to put spaces in a pet's name once you've deleted the original name including spaces in it?

I believe KR allows spaces.

When you name a pet in KR it adds a space to the end of the name. Just use arrow keys to add a name after that. I think it adds one at the start of the name too.

Correct, once your in the Name Entry mode, arrows (left - right) and the home end keys work.

In short hitting the End Key takes you to one space beyond the last character. Hitting the Home Key takes you to one space in front of the first character.

I tried on the SA Client and was unable to change squat about the name.
