What minors to turn in?

Assuming there will be some kind of market for Tokuno minors after the event is over (and it's a huge assumption), what would be those that even then wouldn't be worth anything? In other words - what should I keep? Also, what are the best majors to claim?

There's no real answer to this question...Everyone has there own Likes and dislikes...My suggestion would be collect till the end then you can decide.I useally keep 2 or 3 of each for my self and my other char's...

Yes, I agree with dyes and flutes,. The swords & urns - especially if you have them paired by name - make good deco items.

I already had the majors from last time, so this time I traded in for a dozen spellbooks, for my alt chars' use. Start with 50 basic skill in magery, add jewels & the Tome of Knowledge and you have a minutes old Mage with 65% - 95% Magery skill. Great for a crafter or gatherer that needs a bit of defense/offense and a way to recall...

The Gloves of the Sun are a decent mage item. 18% LRC, Night Sight (for humans like me), 5% LMC, 2 hit point regen, and excellent fire resist make it a great piece for an LRC suit.

And the ancient Samurai Do is a decent alternative to a Violet Courage/Heart of the Lion, when you don't care about a measly 95 luck, and can really use +10 parry.

These are the things to keep for future sales:

Dyes
Flutes
Exiler
Gloves of the Sun
Sword Display/Urn sets (singles won't sell very well)
Dragon Nunchaku (so so)

Majors-

Rune Beetle Carapace
Stormgrip
Darkened Sky (so so)
Horselord (so so)
Tome of Lost Knowledge (so so)

Other than these, most you'll end up sitting on so long the vendor fees will end up costing more than you sell the things for.

As others have said, alot of it is mostly personal. If you're out to make a buck, you might want to sell the minors to other players while they are somewhat hot, if they even still are.

I completed a set or two during the first edition of the event. Outside of that, personally, I really like the Exiler. The Do comes in handy for non-maxed Warriors. I like the black tome(spell book). The gloves have come in handy for my mages. 1 set of Swords/Urn is nice for deco, even more so if you like the name enough to create a character with that name, though having an Urn while the character still exists might be a little awkward...

Having those already I am really only trying to accumulate some dyes. I like the Browns and the Silver. I'm not getthing those drops too much. I'd like to find a couple people on Chessy that would like to trade for those colors. One for one, whether it be another dye color or another tomartie to turn in.
