The opening of Malas wasn't a rare event? But Personal Bless Deeds weren't available from a rare event
ohhhh looky over there..... soon, another grand opening! The opening of Malas wasn't a rare event?
We've had the opening of Ilshenar and Tokuno as well, and we're going to have the opening of the SA area, and yeah :/The opening of Malas wasn't a rare event?
Also, the Blackrock question is kinda overkill. They never even gave us a chance to figure out the blackrock/shield thing for ourselves. Draconi announced the use of it on the shields right here on Stratics before the Manifestations even arrived. Next time, please let us try to figure it out first before telling.
Unless I'm mistaken you have to use the honor virtue on your intended victim for this spell to work."Does the Bushido spell Honorable Execution, when successfully used really give you the bonus it is supposed to? I don't notice anything such bonus.
I’ve dug into the code to make sure this spell is working as advertised and this is what I found:
When the spell is first cast, you get a increase to hit chance based on your bushido skill level regardless of your target’s honor.
If you have successfully honored your opponent with the honor virtue, you will also gain a damage bonus based on your skill level and perfection bonus. Perfection bonus increases each time you hit your honored opponent. This damage bonus is in addition to the normal bonus you get to damage for honor perfection.
If the hit kills the enemy, the player gets healed and swing speed is increased for approximately 20 seconds. If you miss, your resists and magic defense is penalized for approximately 7 seconds. You are also unable to use special moves while the negative effects are on you. You can also remove the negative effects with a successful parry.
The part that might be confusing is that you cannot honor another player in PvP. So this spell will not give you any bonuses (outside of the initial hit chance increase) in PvP combat.

This answer threw me off a bit. I had submitted a similar question months ago, but I tested this since, and it DOES work as advertised. The question was about "the Bushido spell Honorable Execution" yet he throws in the "honor" the guy thing. Very confusing why he even mentioned honoring someone.
The part about an initial hit chance increase is interesting.
There is no mention of that in the spell description. Please verify.Unless I'm mistaken you have to use the honor virtue on your intended victim for this spell to work.
In this particular case, we all knew anyway. There wasn't anything to tell. Also, the Blackrock question is kinda overkill. They never even gave us a chance to figure out the blackrock/shield thing for ourselves. Draconi announced the use of it on the shields right here on Stratics before the Manifestations even arrived. Monsters have honor? Should this read "fame"?FoF said:When the spell is first cast, you get a increase to hit chance based on your bushido skill level regardless of your target’s honor.
That's all well and good, but as for "why" -Why are most of the threads dropped in magnecia not stackable? Some of them will stack and some will not, will this be fixed in any publish coming up soon?
There are no plans to change this. They all CAN stack; it is just a matter of finding the right threads to allow stacking.

Still, unless this spell allows you do exceed the damage cap (ie- 300% PvM / 200% PvP), this spell will essentially do nothing as you will be capped or near the cap in everything else it does.Unless I'm mistaken you have to use the honor virtue on your intended victim for this spell to work.
But Personal Bless Deeds weren't available from a rare event
I don't even remember getting Personal Bless Deeds from malas opening.... The bless deeds were given out (at least the first time) for no particular reason, I think it was around publish 16 or 14.... Or my memory could be totally off, but I had mine before Malas in either case. The opening of Malas wasn't a rare event? But Personal Bless Deeds weren't available from a rare event
PBD's were a reward for pre-ordering the AOS clientI don't even remember getting Personal Bless Deeds from malas opening.... While I am completely sure I had my Personal Bless Deeds prior to AOS, I am also completely sure I pre-ordered it, But if that is the case why would my account have them and not my wife? But since I am not sure about the AOS part, I wont disagree. Simply saying what I can remember, I suppose someone has the release notes for AOS to verify this.PBD's were a reward for pre-ordering the AOS client
*edit* unliess you mean item bless deeds, which were given out as part of "Clean Up Brittania"
Is incorrect. After trying to get my collection of almost 600 threads to stack even partially, I gave up. The old threads will not stack, no matter if you have the right ones or not. Not that it really matters anymore, as most, if not all, have been turned in by now.Why are most of the threads dropped in magnecia not stackable?
