That music on the Stygian Abyss site is just pure bliss, true Ultima. For the first time in years I really feel like I'm playing something that is derived from decades of Ultima lore and tradition.

Fantastic job on the music, see you all when it's released. I hope I'm not the only Ultima/Ultima Online vet returning.

Oceania will no doubt be extremely quiet, but with the expansion it'll draw players to key expansion areas. As long as it's playable it should be fine.

But this is a fantastic opportunity for EA. They can really bring players to UO if they get their game faces on.

Wow, unbelievable!

I'm a sucker for game music and to be honest the thing that brought me back to Ultima Online in 2006 was the song "Stones". It is not only the first song I remember when I started playing UO, but it's the song that played when I bought my first home on Ice Island and the last song that played when I logged out for the last time when quitting.

Hearing it almost-- sadly enough-- brought tears. I missed everyone I'd met and had to get back into the game before everyone left. Now, with this new soundtrack, I can only hope other veterans consider coming back.

I can personally say that while the UO playerbase may have been declining, I'm seeing a massive influx of players returning on a weekly basis and the fun factor of Ultima has simply not gone away.

Awesome job, and hats off to EA for taking this release so seriously.. it's really what UO needed.
