cloaks of corruption and black rock?

okay im way behind on the info here...

trying to find info to read on this event.

anyone know ?

why is everyone collecting black rock, and where will the shadow lords be?


need tospend more time listening hehe

Shadowlords spawn with a shield around them, casting the armageddeon spell (using a blackrock piece) is the only way to bring it down. the top 3 damage dealers will get a cloak or corruption. the cloaks can also be modified by strangers with the threads from magincia. the shadowlords you fight will be in tokuno, one in the desert north of zento, one in the snow region and the other i cant remember exactly. the strangers are in 3 different locations (posted in publish notes i think) hope that helps.

So are the cloaks that are dropping now the same ones we got as drops from the Ethereal Shadowlords? I also take it that the shards will only happen in the final battle with the Shadowlords, so the only "reward" for killing them now would be the same cloak and a ToT minor, right?

I've gotta be honest, all this only happens at certain times event stuff is pretty tough going for the casual player.

Seeing how camped Tok is already the chances of finding a shadow lord and actually being one of the top damages is gonna be pretty low.

Maybe people will let us have a go too

Had 3 saved from Dark Magincia, converted 2 over (one Life, one Death, don't have a good enough Necro, so don't have the threads for the Power) and back to Tokuno farming... with everyone chasing the Shadowlords for cloaks I don't need, should make for a good week or two of decent ToT farming without the crowds.

I got a cloak of corruption in an idoc this morning (so now I have two, hehe). Ironic? I'll probably never even see one of the shadowlords.

I with ya, I have done the champ spawn in Tok at least 20 times. I have yet to get anything (ToT or replica) from the spawn or boss.
