What is the purpose of the dread war horse?

WWGRD?

I mean why does this thing take 3 slots? Just because it has double the hit points of a normal mare? So far I haven't seen it do any special moves. Does this black smoke lower your enemies resists or something? If its just eye candy, wow, how pointless :/

Just trying to get an idea if there's a reason why I would want to use this instead of my real mare, my cu or my ethereal horse or if it's just another pokemon pet (gotta catch em all) like the reptalon.

The only way I see this at this time is a Replacement for any and all Dragons you may have stabled.

That is NOT the Greater Dragons, it is the Regular Dragons.

Now that is paradoxical in its own right. A Dragon tames at what 93.5? Can not be ridden (but hey your Nightmare can be).

A Dread War Horse can be ridden and is tamed at what 105.0 to 106.9 and the other two slots are what?

As far as Ridables, I would probably prefer my Hiryu first, my Cu second and now MAYBE my Dread as 3rd.

Hard to say this early but it is a 3 slot rideable, which is pretty new balance-wise, and it pairs up with a 2 slot pet or you can cast an ev with it. Convention would say that a bake in the combo could be good.

Will have to see how it pans out, it's just too soon to judge yet, people's arent even bonded yet really.

Going by the taming requirement, I think this is the fire steed we should have had, but in a much better colour :)

In my view, it caters to folk who like hunting with mares and just like the look of them. They're a compact size so you can see the corpses and spawn around them easier, but they're effectively a tank mare too. Put together with a normal mare or even a kitsune, and you'd have a good looking combo to hunt with.

Now we don't know 100% if there may be a special use for these horses in factions for example. But it's a perfectly good pet all the same. I think we've become very accustomed to getting super pets and forgotten that normal pets can be fun too.

What would be cool:
breeding own pets with their own powers and hues maybe by crossbreeding a war horse with a mare or a fire steed.
Similar like gardening ...
Then growing the young pet ...
And have attached to the name a tag like from the breed of Olahorands stables (sorry, my English may be awful wrong here ...)

Cut Warriors down to only being able to have "X" weps according to their Skill Point total & see how the yelling begins.
Then give warriors a blessed suit of armor(costs 30 gold per rl week to keep) that is 82/85/70/50/70 that gives the wearer 1100+ hit points,500+ strength,140+ dex,and 240+ int. Along with the suit I want a weapon of choice that does base damage of 20-24 and gives me 100% hit ebolt or 100% hit explosion. The suit of armor and the weapon should also of course be self repair 10. And this suit of armor can not be worn with any template that has the taming skill.

People get cake and don't eat it?
People eat cake and don't get it?
Or dim people like me just collect all those damn anniversary cakes and keep them in a chest in my tower.

Last time I checked, they were worth about 1 gold piece and a used q-tip for 50 (if you haggle).

It kills cooperation the first days, but now nobody wants to tame one. I ask if someone wants to tame it before I kill. People says no. So if some people want one and don't come on the spot or don't ask help to get one or ask someone who has spares, there's no point crying "omg they kill dread warhorses that's unfair!". Apart for post count of course.

So I got mine without shooting "ME FIRST ME FIRST". Players are nicer and more civilized than that.

I can count on the fingers of 1 hand the times there was any sign of co-operation at a new spawn. Pet or otherwise :)

I've not had any problem taming horses in Fel, I just watch for the spawn and make sure I'm waiting with my tamer instead of recalling in every few mins. Now it's in different cities there's less reason for anyone to create any drama. Of course if you limit yourself to Tram you'll be among all the worst brats, but I've seen quite a few folks now coming from Tram to Fel. Hopefully the town spawns are less intimidating to Tram players than Magincia was.

I go to help others get their Vanguard thingies and to help those that want to tame the Dread.

If I see a Dread looking totally useless and wanting to pick a fight with something, I lore it and if it gives me a reason to believe it may be an upgrade to the one I have then I ask if anyone wants it, else if it looks to be an upgrade I will go tame it, else I will send my NyteMare in to kill it.

On Lake Austin, I just have not seen the Drama and stuff that seems to go on, on other shards.

Seconding that. On the first day of the invasion, somebody walked up to me at the Luna stables, asked what my taming skill was, then transferred me a dread warhorse. :) You could probably hear me squealing all the way over in Skara Brae. (I named it My Little Pwnie. Life is good. :D)

In terms of purpose, though, I'm trying to decide whether to replace my nightmare or my non-greater dragon with it. Three tame slots is awkward, but it does pack more punch than a classic nightmare. Now that it's bonded, I'm thinking of taking it out with a kitsune and seeing how they do. It'll take some experimentation to find the right combination, but hasn't that been the way with almost every new pet introduction?

You definatly play the wrong shard.....I've been to a lot of spawns in tram on cats and I help as many people as I can. Wether I am on my tamer, archer, fighter, mage. And almost everybody helps me right back!

I got also help on almost every shard I tried to tame one - if the situation was so.
Legends the best, but also on ATL and Drachenfels I could experience very honorfull players.
