Run KR and run it fullscreen? <_<

No. You're getting the same number of pixels as everyone else. Its your choice to use smaller pixels.

Or wait for the new SA client due out later this summer. KR has been abandoned and is no longer updated by the Dev team.

Basically you have two choices once you get beyond the 1280x1024 level of resolution with LCD monitors and UO...

1. Drop the monitor out of its native resolution into a lower resolution which causes the image to blur significantly or in the case of widescreen monitors, distort the image proportions.

2. Use KR which is scaled more properly to higher resolutions and can zoom in and out to the desired level of visibility.

Check your video driver's extended controls, depending on the video card/chip you are using... you can define an application or game to run in a desired resolution. Like ATI's Catalyst Control Center or nVidia's GeForce Software.

If you are running OEM drivers & controls, you may need to download the extended controls.

Hope that helps.

I ran a 19" widescreen at 1680x1050 but using 2D I dropped it to 1024x768 and it was workable. You could use KR tho and do away with flipping the rez on it.
