EA Account transfer... how to do that?

I'm trying to understand how to do that... almost all links in uo site are gone :/

Is enough to fill this: module and fax it to ea?

How can I be sure that the procedure is complete?

Can I contact someone of ea via email for check if they have done (an international call is very expensive...)?

I bought a veteran account about a year and a half ago, and I'll try to recall the process I used. That form you have linked to is the correct form (the zip file contains a word document named AATP.doc which contains the forms and info you need, including the fax number and a phone number). I do remember getting updates from EA via email throughout the process, but I believe you will have to make an actual phone call at the end, before they finalize anything.
You will need to make sure the seller agrees to the official transfer process, as they will also have to fill out a form for EA. It's a pain to go through the whole transfer process, but well worth it, in my opinion. And that way the former owner won't be able to call EA and claim their account was "hacked" and get it back, leaving you with no recourse.

Remember with an account transfer:

• Name
• email address
• physical address
• phone number
• Credit card

all have to be changed

so, if I would like to buy an account I must follow this steps:

1. contact the owner and make it sign the module

2. owner of the account must fax the module filled and signed to me

3. I fill my part of the module and I send it to EA

4. I pay the owner price of the account

5. I wait for EA reply that say to me "Transfer Complete!"

6. I can enjoy my new account

I think that this process is easy to use for scams
for example if the original owner fill the module with fake data, I think that ea need almost a day to verify that and I've lost my money :/

when buying old accounts seems that there is always a way to scam people,... we need a better way for this kind of trade... maybe something automated...

I didn't realize it's so complicated. I was thinking about purchasing a vet account if I find one. But $30 on top of it? ooph
