What template to choose?

Hi... I haven't played UO since 2002 and a lot has changed since then.

I started again about 3 days ago. I decided on being a dexxer with magic and eval int... (no idea where I got that just thought I'd be a good build)

but now I'm not really sure, should I keep on building one like that or just switch to a parry dexxer or a mage with a weapon.

I'd like to PvM mainly, but if you have good all-around templates for PvM and PvP those would be great too.

I'm playing on Siege, so I guess that counts too.

Ok, please share your thoughts and actual templates, because I'm at the crossroads right now and I'm not sure which way to go...

To start up again, go focussed. Pick either dexxer or mage and go with it.

Now here's the reason you should pick one over the other:

The dexxer is a LOT easier to play than the mage, especially if you get into a PvP situation. (That's both a good point and a bad point, by the way)

well, i imagine, since all you have to do is run up and do chivalry/bushido spells and heal = )

how is mage in PvM?
