Oni arti drops?

Quick Oni question.

I've killed a whole bunch of Oni's with my archer this morning at the Tokuno Hokata Plains. They didn't drop a single arti. How many Onis are you guys talking about?

Onis are so weak its almost funny too, btw. LOL

Doesn't matter it's a point system based on fame. You are subject to the RNG.
Side note oni rip my tamer to shread if they target him first. And a group of them will destroy my greater. My sampire and mage though have no trouble.

CLoak explained it. Just to clarify the fame I meant is the monsters fame level.

Well i just came back to EA shards about 2 weeks ago. I want to find me a good Yumi to try out for PvP so I figured the best way would be to farm with my tamer. I knew Oni's droped a lot of loot so I got my peacer/tamer out and took a hiru out. I killed 30+ Onis over about a hour and I never got a mini arty drop. I have about 1300 luck.

I know that I can take my melee with blaze of death and go to the champ spawn there and get about 5 artys easily in the same ammount of time killing small things in mass bulk so 1000small creatures > 100 big creatures for getting arty drops

I stick to small critters with my archer with only 169 luck. I get 1 arty about every 35 mins like clockwork. But that damn mempo just wont drop. Out of 130+ drops not a single mempo.
