Was there any WARNING?

Went on Vacation all last week, came back and see ToTIII is going on... thought "Great!". Until now. My BF and I still have over 300 plus minor arties from the previous 2 ToT's. Yet NOW we can't choose the 10 charge dyes??? Was there a warning from the DEV team before this took place, and if NOT.. why? In the past we were told we could hold these arties as long as we wanted to be able to choose what we wanted, and now we can't.

I think there might have been a one day warning at most. It is unfortunate about the dyes. I don't understand why they were removed as a major reward.

I didn't note a "thumbs up" that ToT3 was coming, but the announement ( a day prior) on the Herald reference the event does state that major dyes were removed from the turn in menu. While there was no explanation "why," it does stand to reason that since they sell those in Japan on their codes site, that leaving them in the menu would have negative effect on revenue. Personally, I am disappointed, as these are the only "major" items we need and our codes site does not keep pace with the Japanese one.

Since when? I don't remember reading anything about the ToTII dyes being available indefinitely. Can you site your reference?

I believe they might have stated that the turn-in NPC would be sticking around, although I'm pretty sure that any more than that is player speculation.

Also, I don't believe they should tell the players everything they're doing/planning.

Well they should give warnings to things like this... why risk upsetting more people by making them lose items in a game that to me seems to be a dieing species.

If i remember right they didnt anounce (i might be wrong) that they would be ending the original tot dyes (50 charges) and bringing in the new ones with 10 charges and horrid colours!! On a side not i have noticed (this might just be sheer coincidence) that the new 300 luck neck piece and the majors wont drop if your using a hidden char to farm them, have had 0:100 on my ninja tamer on the gorget and 1:10 for drop on my archer, just my 2 cent that maybe hiding cancels you out of the new drop.

there was no warning after the 1st round to ToT, i had a bunch of minors saved up to pick luna white dyes and such and then one day they changed to those pale colors that no one likes without warning then the ToT II came out... that was pretty lame

lol I agree with you, Kojak, but I do know a few people who prefered the muted color dyes. I haven't seen them all yet, but I like some of the new colors, too. I do wish they had more than one charge, though.

If you wanted the dyes so much, why have you been sitting on 300+ minors for a year? Simple, You were trying to get the best of both worlds and it didn't work. Just incase they launched any new major you would have 300 ready to hand in, unfortunatly it went the other way.
We lernt that one from ToT 1 and you should have also.
Sorry you cant get any more dyes but also im not because i dont like neon colours.

no i have a max lock house in fel brit on atl and i have over 120 dyes including 8 complete sets of ten...

and that was on day three of the new ToT.....

not to mention the other 300 ToT's i have gotten in the last three days for turn-ins
