Training up pets that have been sitting in the stables for as long as 3 yrs while working Disco. I finally hit 120 Disco last week, and am nearly done training every skill up to GM or higher on every pet.

honestly baron, get a job. or at least go to school. seriously, what are you doing with yourself? I can't even BELIEVE you're still active. I mean, most the great pvpers and cheaters tend to have way too much time on their hands, but you, you're outrageous. I can't for the life of me, think of a bigger rl waste of space than baron. Your parents should have lost custody long ago.. Now that the damage is done, they should probably just kick you out finally.

Then, once her sister, the albino bonds (if she doesn't bond today I will release her and double click my crystal for another) it is back to the resist training for me.

I NEVER would have been able to raise her resist if you hadn't let her tag along with Roar yesterday.

Well, currently I am in game talking to Phantom and wishing you were around for some fun things to do. Hopefully I'll get my connection up and running for some sweet dungeon runs or other fun things to do together. Did you ever finish that quest?

I cannot wait! OMG - I did finally finish. Nightshade and squirrel an I went to Citadel and died 269415673 times - but we finished! Very nice of him to accompany me, since it was a suicide mission. He took your place as my partner in crime while you were without Internet.

Im sick of baron talk. Its gotten really old. After several months, I've realized some things. THIS is the last post I shall ever make in regard to the one we call BARON:
bah, in all honesty, I liked playing with baron. Pretty funny kid really. Its being fickle that people are judging him about. Its the lack of loyalty and integrity that people dislike. When we take these things out of context, that is, that its a video game were talking about, he isn't that bad. Just a kid trying to have fun I suppose. This in conjunction with the fact that the kid can play a dexxer, makes him an easy target for criticism. Back in the day, he would have been one of a thousand others like himself. Since UO is basically dead, however, hes basically one of a kind. If you have his icq like I do, read his caption. It says it all: 'TO ALL THOSE WHO TAUNT ME' it starts.. The rest cannot be posted here but you get the idea. Its pretty typical. Aggressive defense. Reminds me of myself in my younger years actually. Also reminds me of one particular SUPR who is no longer with us as well. So, apparently, hes NOT one of a kind, he is one of two of a kind at the least. He acts like he loves the hate, but its just his best defense. The way I see it, we as a community are sharpening his knives daily, and with every post in his name. If you ask me, if you truly dislike him, leave him alone. In fact, if you really dislike him, you should try to get to know him. Invite him on a hunt or something. Take his knives away and what you are left with is a very average high school graduate. Though we all know his antics well, we have to remember the context. Its a game, and its probably fun for him. Who can judge that? And yeah, hes got an ego, but frankly, egos make the world go round, so long as nobody knows they are there. Someday, he will learn to mask it a little better.
Also, Vel, I highly doubt he is 'stalking' you. Im not sure if you knew this or not, but yr pretty hot, and hes a young male specimen. Nothing 'creepy' about that, in fact, its highly predictable.
So thats it. I refuse to fuel his fire with hate any more.

I enjoy playing with Baron too. In fact, I have likely been spending far too much time with him lately. But underneath all the rumors and trash talking people do, he is a very normal person (EXTREMELY questionable taste in music aside), and I can't believe the cruelty toward him that has been allowed lately on Stratics. Soooo many personal attacks, and yet no warnings or posts being removed. An entire thread devoted to accusing him of cheating? DUPE isn't even his guild.
And I don't think he is stalking me! He has been affectionately referred to within my guild as my stalker because for a while, no matter what weird out of the way place I was, he would be there too. Now he has taken to teasing one of my guildmates relentlessly and following him around, so they were kind of freaked out when Szechuan first came back to the game.
I think Baron actually bring a lot to the game. And most of stratics are aholes for being such jerks to him.

u have much to learn young padawan
its cool that you have formed a relationship with him and enjoy your time in uo
but just know that for every 1 friend in uo that he has, I am guessing he has at least 15-20 haters, there must be a reason for this.....
so be careful and follow the one of the top 3 rules in uo, never give full trust to anyone in virtual worlds unless you know them in RL because we dont wanna hear you whining later on when he robs you blind.
One time he joined a guild just because he saw something of value in the guys pack, once he was a member of the guild, he AFK tram killed him and looted.
baron used to snoop trammy ppl in a trammy guild he was in, saw that they had something of value, somehow led them to fel where they died and he looted their stuff.
Reason for me saying all this, is you seem like a nice person, maybe naive and he is offering you excitement? and i thought you should know that he did do these deeds above and many more like them.
1.) I did get a warning.
2.) Baron, I don't hate you. I hate some of the things you do (like making blatant posts on here starting crap for one, or sitting around in people's houses waiting for a lock down) and I was sticking up for my guildmates who were less willing to say anything, which wasn't Vel. When I heard what was going on with Vel from other people within my guild, they made it sounds like it was more serious than it was. I apologize, as I just spoke to Vel yesterday and today about this and learned differently. Needless to say,m this has been a learning lesson and I'll be hearing things from those in question first hand.

Its funny this baron kid gets so much attention for antics that were commonplace back in the day. Like SUPRsalad said he would be one of ten thousand during peak AoS days when scammers and smack talkers were more common then friendlys. I guess the real question is why he is playing UO and not working on gladiator rank in WoW with the thousands of other recent high school grads. Thats real pvp right. Until he scams a castle off a vet or something he doesnt rank with the old school peeps imo, even though it cracks me up people still fall for going to fel with a known good pvper without insured gear, props their baron those people deserve their loot stolen.

He isn't the bad guy they make him out to be. He just has a lot of enemies.
It kind of stinks, when you get killed and the first thing someone says to you after being ressed is, 'sorry, you were with Baron, so you had to die'.
But, he isn't a scammer, and he is definitely a real pvper - you haven't been owned until you see the flashing neon pink and purple OMG OWNED he spams after killing you.
