[Archery] A tribute to The Nox Ranger

Hello,

Here is my very detailed tribute setup to my Nox Ranger bow. Please let me know if you think this is good. My focus is pvm mostly.

Please provide feedback on my whole template including equip. I use lots of arties so if you have something better un named sent me a msg maybe I can make you an offer?

Without mana leech, Med, or some type of mana regeneration, you won't be able to cast much or use many specials. Mana for archers sucks since the nerfs.

like connor said you for sure need mana so either a mana leech bow or drop resist for med
second with a 35 energy resist you need more....swap out any of the items that are not medable or mage armor with player crafted or medable pieces

Ditch the Leggings of Bane, can't med.

Drop chiv down to around 60. You don't get 4/6 casting w/magery higher than 70 so going that high chiv is pointless.

Drop tactics to 90 (needed for both weapon specials)

Lose the Jackal's. Replace those items with +Stamina/Mana/MR/LMC items.

Raise int to at least 70+
Drop dex down a bit
Drop str to 80 if you can get Spirit of Totem

70 Int
Give or take...

Drop resist, in PvM it's near worthless with the useage of trapped boxes, apples, petals and potions.

You def need at least 2/4 casting, or your magery is going to be pretty much worthless, wont be able to cast fast enough to save yourself, save someone else, or get out of a bind.

Give or take...

Since it's a PvM character, you can go Elf and drop 20-25 points of Int and put into Dex to bring it to 125. You can get over 100 mana with only 45 Int. I run with 103 mana and only have 45 Int myself.

True, for straight up PvM elf wouldn't be a bad choice for the extra mana.

Why would you use the ancient helm over a kasa of the rajin for a mage?
