Combining SoTs

Since their introduction I have got a lot of Scrolls of transcendence. The lowest ones take place and are difficult to sell. So I thought it would be a great idea to enable scribes to combine them into bigger ones : Combine a 0.2, a 0.3 and a 0.5 into a 1.0 SoT. One could even go higher with maybe a cap at 5.0.

- It would be good for storage
- It would be good for shopping purposes
- it would be good for crafters (scribes).

Could be just to reduce the number of items in game/your house. If someone farms a ton of them and has a few hundred that can be a pain, I presume. I don't farm them so I don't actually know.

I sort of see both points,

i mean if your going to use them...i dont see the problem as you should organise them into bags for the skills you want to raise.

if your going to sell them, apart from reaching max items on a vendor as i have done a few times, i dont really see the point either. I mean it should be easy to store them in different bags and when you reach...say a point, put them on the vendor.

So i suppose of your a "trammy" farmer this could prove a problem(for the vendors) as that could mean 10scrolls per sell. Mind you, im mainly a fel farmer so its only 2 per sell(in fact i dont bother combining them)

I was against this idea before, but I was thinking about it and farming champ spawns is one of the few things that many players vet players really seem to enjoy doing now on a regular basis (not me, but I'm a weirdo).

I'd envision something more along the lines of little statues the player (scribe? carpentry who read the masonry book?) could make that would store a specific SoT skill. So it would still require some storage to have the statues (55 or so I think), but they could be added to the statue, then removed in the amount that the player wanted. Could be made so making the statues takes some resources or time so that they are rare objects for people to display, but not so difficult that if you really needed them you couldn't get them. It could be kind of a fun collector thing that way.

But doing that would deprive people of a reason to have 2-3 castles full of stuff they want to turn in during the next Spring Cleaning event.

I'm inclined to agree with Lynx. I haven't seen enough duplicate SoT's to make me think this idea is worthy of Dev's limited time.

I'd like to see Bod books for SoTs, that way they're easily found with a quick search.

Im sitting on about 20 points of fishing and begging. Tons of weaving and bard skills.

What a better idea might be if they were stackable

Then allow PS's to be stackable for storage
