Hi, Sometimes when i do a champ I dont get a sot drop at all, othertimes 4-5 in one champ, anyone know if there is any rhyme or reason to the drop rate?

My friend Snow told me to get a task master with area hit spell so you kill more quicker and that helps SoT drops. I tried it and it works for me.

(Except when those Bone Magis spawn OUCH!)

I dont think you understood the question. I have a tamer with a gd so I generally do the same amount of damage during a set time, sometimes i get 4-5 sots, other times none. Is there any rhyme or reason to sot drops?

It is randomly based, and a low percentage. The RNG is not perfect, but even if the RNG was perfect, you would have that effect with that kind of distribution, known as a binomial distribution. So I would say that is pretty usual and expected, even based on my own experience at the champ spawns.

I got 2 Sot within 1 minute earlier tonight, ironically with my backpack covered with a chat program window, so I didn't see them till I got done typing my reply and minimizing it. I then got a 3rd SoT 5 minutes later.

How about doing spawns since they began, doing massive damage with warrior, archer, mage and tamer and never getting one ever? No kind of drop of any type and that includes Doom as well lol. Be thankful you get a drop.
