Hail. I'm, currently on tour but return from afghanistan in 2 months. Will have cable and already have a bomb desktop waitin for me when I return. I know UO isn't what it used to be but it is still hard to find a game that has a match in PvP. I'm a dedicated PvPer and only PvM to either help better someone in the guild or myself. I play mostly a pure mage with scribe/steal/detect on a need basis. Also have an archer and a necro/mage. I have a mule or two as well as a tamer but he is mainly for PvM as I see tamer pvp no skill. Been playin since pre UO:R so I have a good basis of gameplay. Been out for 3yrs tho and have some catching up to do. Also UOAM and vent capable and can and will tweak templates for current pvp situations, save pvping on a tamer, I'd rather participate in group PvP with my own skills rather than that of gaming AI.
What I'm looking for:
PvP. Factions is also a big must, definately miss the old days.
Quality guild that has a frequent presence on the field to join on a server that hosts quality guilds and not just one big zerg/dismount. I understand this is a concept of the game as is the sdragon but majority of pvp should be mage on mage imo.
Active shards. My current server is Sonoma after moving there from Catskills some 4-5years ago. It is seriously undermanned and the only guild that holds a type of rank does so with 20:2 odds as well as stealthing/dismounters and sdragon lamers bein their main make-up, the complete opposite of what I'm looking for.
I realize UO is and has been in it's decline for some time. But I'd like to get back into it and not be bored after the first week. If anyone could point me to at minimum a shard that shows constant pvp and not just gatewhacking send me a pm or reply here.
