You gain faster if your total skill points are under 400?
Is that true or is it just urban myth?

personally I think its a misunderstanding of the GGS rules, which give you faster GGS gains based on your total skill points. I've never read anything official about skill points affecting regular gains.

I never noticed any difference between a character with 300 and one with 700 skill points. (I actually tested it by putting a couple of skills on a soulstone.)

it does work but it is tied to ggs example my character with 700 plus points gets a ggs every 27 hours
now this same character with under 350 points gets a gain every 5.6 hurs this is at 95 to 100
so basicly you get 6 times the ggs for the same period of time but this only works for ggs

Yes it does work to a point. Mostly effected by the GGS.... which hates me as does the RNG so... yes...
