if your not in the beta client yourself how did you see them ???

two where running about in haven the other night saying how brilliant it was, maybe just people poly'ed?
if they looked like the gargoyles you see in game now, they're poly'd. Check out the SA web site, the playable gargoyles look nothing like the pink versions we're used to.
I think it highly doubtful - If anyone remembers being in ML beta, were you on normal shards, or were you on a special shard, like test center???
I have a character that has, from time to time, wandered the land polymorphed, just to get me in the mood 
I hope the poly'd gargs and the user gargs are VERY different looking and very distinguishable. I wouldn't want to be attacked while walking (flying) about.
