So there I am training magic resist in New Haven. I'm inside the house while the specters are outside. is this illegal? I'm not sure, but everyone does it.

Anyways, I see a character running around with the name ***** the Gypsy.

I think thats odd. Next thing I know I'm kicked out of the house in the middle of all these spell binders.

I run back into the house, and decide to go gather some more. I get about 11. And now about every 3-4 minutes one of them disappears in mid air.

What is up?

monsters have to have a clear path to attack you when training your skills. using a boat or a building is against the rules and can get you in trouble with GM's.

Pretty sure its not, besides you could just walk around with them following you.

On the thing about them disappearing, it happens...i think although not certain, New havens spawn operates similar to a champ spawn. If you leave it to long the spawn "reverts" to zombies and skele at which time you have to kill some to spawn the binders.

Also from time to time if the mob is "refreshed" it will just dissapear.

its deff illegal, at least when i had played. my guildmaster was paged on for it, and visited by a gm. running around with them is fine, but using the house is not.

things may have changed, but i doubt it. this was over a year ago.

Judging by the responses to your question, this is illegal and can result in diciplinary action. Now what does it say about the powers that be, that something like this can get you in trouble, yet speed hacking, script looting, etc, is rampant? pathetic!

Especially as they designed the are to allow this to happen so easily! Theres about 5spots in haven you can do this!
