Sampire - What Am I doing Wrong?

So i wanted to raise the last couple dots of Honor, and went down to blood to work on the succubi. Up to this point i have been doing miasma and faring relatively well, to I wanted something a little harder. Apparently I wasnt ready for it yet, as i got straight beat down by paragon, and even some regular ones caused problems.

My template:

116 Swords (scrolled to 120 and increasing)
120 Bushido
120 Parry
100 Necro
100 Resist
100 Tactics
65 Chiv

My Suit:
70/66/70/59/74
110 STR (111 hp) 137 Dex (152 stam) 48 Int (84 mana)
36 LMC, 5 MR, 47 DCI, 20 DI, 30 HLD

The Weapon Im using is a scythe with the following stats
48 HSL, 41 HML, 25 SSI, 29 DI.

I realize that the DI/HCI are pretty low, but i figure that with Perfection/EoO/CW and spamming LS, that shouldn't be a huge problem.

I find that in fights where i end up dying, that once the initial evasion wears off, i just get dumped on, taking me to half HP/Stam, and that once i reach that point im practically done. Any advice?

Are you using confidence at all?

Also you need to build honor hits, you won't leech enough until you build enough honor up against a paragon so you do have to joust a bit.

Yes I am a male, forgot about that/ I use confidence but it doesnt seem worth it when it gets broken 1/2 seconds in by a 8 dmg fireball.

And yes, I realize i need to build up perfection, just dont see how I can get there when i get dumped on so fast...

Oh, I am also using an armored swamp dragon.

Yes, you're weapon. You need a daemon slayer. Why use a weak weapon that doesn't have enough damage increase.

Frankly as a warrior, the only things that should remotely give you a fight are some paragon mobs (maybe), peerless and DF (sort of). Anything else should be easy. Succubus should be dead in but a couple hits with the right weapon. You should not be jousting with them.

Just invoke virtue honor macro > hit it as soon as you see her > engage while keeping as many cats off you as possible and then clean all of the cats up while waiting on the respawn (only need to kill a couple that are near you). Using these methods you should be able to stay in EoO form and just easily stack honor till the end (a hours time from where you are if fighting tactics are good).

Only other thing is this: succubus stack a lot of spells on you at once. If you aren't using confidence, hitting your heal macro fast enough, without a slayer weapon you will get into trouble without good tactics.

Last but not least, don't use a scythe as a PvM weapon. At least...not for succubus. You want weapons that do useful special moves depending on what you're fighting.

This is your primary problem right here. Get a faster weapon that is a Demon slayer, and Succubi will go down like wheat before the scythe (pun intended)

I guess I've been using that weapon because it is the best sampire weapon I have, with high HSL/HML. I can't find a good demon slayer, as I play on a relatively low population shard. Ive got about 6 bronze hammers and a gold from my BOD runner, so i guess Ill burn those. Thanks for the help though.

Even a Twinkling Scimitar with the Sampire mods without the Demon slayer property would be better for you than the scythe. Even with SSI it's just too slow.

So does that mean any ornate with 25 ssi is too slow also? And ok, I have a twink with the same mods that I'll try.

On another, sort of random tangent, I was wondering if there is something I am missing. So i decided to do a coon today, and was actually able to get it solo. So I'm hitting on coon, after her turns rat, for about 20-25 with a soul seeker. I throw on EoO, and no change, still 20-25. I throw on a vermin slayer talisman, still 20-25. What is the problem?

Your damage increase is maxed out before enemy of one, because you have perfection going, and a slayer that works on Barracoon. 100% from perfection, 200% from slayer. Enemy of One won't change that at all.

Ok, so you say subbumbi should be easy with the right weapon, but what is the right weapon? I was burning hammers and I got this twink 42 HLA, 46 HML, 39 HSL, 40 DI. Would that do the trick?

A 2.5s weapon is still pretty slow with 0 SSI. I'd keep looking, even though the other mods are nice.
