Can the new Bladeweave skill use poison?

I am re-reading SA skills and description, reading the new updates that Petra just published, and started wondering about the new Bladeweaver skill. Will the new Gargoyle weapons for the throwing skill be poison-able? I might have just missed it or read over it too fast, but I don't see anything addressing that.

As long as it's an option for archer too, I wouldn't have issue with it. Poisoned arrows are long over due...la

Archers do have Poison, it's a special called "Serpent Arrow" with the Elven Composite Longbow. Takes Poisoning skill to do anything more than Lesser Poison though. It doesn't even take any Poison Bottles to do it.

and it sucks cost mana and dont do much and is easily healed waste of time

Yep, same thing for a Meleer's "Infectious Strike" when he doesn't have Poison skill. At least the Archer get's a ranged Poison with no need to re-apply poison to his wep. Plus it can spawn a snake that can interrupt spellcasting.

I wasn't really asking for an opinion, I was asking if the throwing weapons can be poisoned... just haven't seen it mentioned either way.

Serpent Arrow also gets a boost from your dexterity score.
Are you sure? I know the description for serpent arrow says, "The archer must be skilled in poisoning and nimble of hand to achieve success." I haven't used that attack, and am only asking because it was said for years (By the Developers, none the less) that dexterity affected your stealing ability. Which didn't make sense to me since I was running with 10 dex and doing just fine. Then the code was checked and sure enough, dex was not part of the calculation.

I believe that its so hard wired and deep into the code that it may have effect but is very very minimal i have messed with this on my abc archer and on my mage archer i was working on! and came to the conclusion there was no noticable difference or does not exist as with your stealing example

Long time ago a post was made to give out the formula for serp arrows. Dex and poisoning skill are both factors on what level poison you can achieve. If I remembered correctly the chance of shooting out Lethal is much lower than infectious strike something like 20% chance to LP with GM poisoning and 125 dex.

Ya, I guess that was my point. I'm pretty sure it was Draconi who originally said that Dex affected stealing skill, and later retracted it after doing an extensive code review. It doesn't matter since I have the dex on my archer, just saying don't believe all the descriptions that were developed during the design phase.

I'd still like to know if poisoning the new Bladeweave weapons was ever mentioned for the SA expansion. Anyone?
