I made a similar wild staff with a yew runic saw. It's very nice, fast and never run out of mana and stamina. I was just disappointed a bit with the damage compared to a similar diamond mace. I still carry it as a second weapon to use with momentum strike.

I have a friend who was just burning a val-kit on war forks, and she came up with these gems:
HML 55/HLL 62/HSL 46/HLD 44/DI 46
and...
Dispel 50/HML 42/HSL 48/DCI 15/SSI 30/DI 37

And then a kit on krysses yielded this beauty:
HML 46/HSL 50/HLA 48/HCI 15/DI 51

I wish I had that kind of luck. But I did get a beautiful double axe in a strong box quest. It has HLD/HML/SSI and DI. I adore that axe, even without HSL.

I have not done any strongbox quests yet, and do not really know what they are yet.
Which npcs in heartwood give them and are there different ones besides the minotaur ones ? Do they all have a chance to yield a weapon like that ?

Mmmmm... Not so sure about those weapons you mentioned Farsight. I think if I was burning Kryss or War Forks i'd be looking for PvP mods as they are not ideally suited to PvM... Great weapons, fast, awesome specials, but low dmg output...

Each to their own i guess! Maybe others have found good uses for these weapons in PvM...

The war fork does nearly the same damage (on average) as the radiant scimitar (12-13 base on the fork, 12-24 base on the scimitar) at the same speed. The big difference is the whirlwind special vs. the bleed/disarm specials (mostly worthless outside of the Citadel).

The kryss is underrated in PvM because not enough people use the armor ignore attribute on the kryss. It can make a huge difference.

And yes, she burned the kits looking for PvP weapons, but the kits were a resounding failure on that level (the best being a fork with hld, hla, lightning and... ogre slayer and DI)

Lorekeeper Broolol is the one that starts the Minotaur quest. For each quest you need-

1 Map Fragment (obtained from red healers)
20 Gaman Horns (from gamans)
3 Minotaur Artifacts (picked up from the back of the Labyrinth)

Yes, every quest has a chance at getting something like that, although you'll probably end up doing quite a few quests before you find one with all the right mods.

Is it possible to perma spam AI with a kryss?

I've got a kryss that's pretty much perfect for PvM/sampire/whammy style play... Has all the leeches, DI and HLA/HLD...granted some are in the low 30's...

It cannot be perma spammed. Each time you use 2 special moves within a 3 second period, the mana cost doubles.

My archer uses a mana leech composite bow with 30% SSI.

He can AI every third hit. It's very handy to be able to hit Oaks for 170-190 damage while most people are hitting for 20-30. But it isn't practical against every opponent.

I use just a regular crossbow and LS and hit Oaks for up to 315....

Just alternate between lightning strike and AI. You may have to use 2 LS for 1 AI depending on your swing speed, but it is very efficient. I use it all the time with my composite bows.

ya connor i gotta crossbow 40 ssi 40 di 31 mana leech i love takin my abc to oaks in fel cause im guarenteed the skull of enlightenment lol.....man with perfection and eoo up i havbe broke 300 on him also forget about ai spam crossbow got best DPS out of any bow and with mana leech i can lightning strike all day long

Id go for HPR, but that's just me... HCI/DI is also nice and SSI if you're really feeling teh trickster!

I really don't have any need to enhance it. I use the Assassin suit so SSI isn't any problem. I wouldn't want to risk it for a few more points of DI and 5 HCI.

HP Regen 2 would be uber on that item... that is if it doesn't break.

I don't know about uber, but in the grand scheme, HPR 2 really wouldn't make that much of a difference considering the weapon's swing speed, and the HLA/HLD on it. I need to go play around with it on something. I might try Rotting Corpses and see how it does.
