Stratics' news bot

Looks like Stratics' news bot has gone rogue...It's pulling stories from weeks to months ago.

May be time to pull the plug before it goes the way of Hal 9000, Agent Smith, and the Mach 5.

OK, now that all the humor is gone, it's an artifact of UOMythic changing the RSS feed. The same thing happened last time they did it; when we set the RSS feed for the new location, the autoposting software no longer recognizes any of the existing posts as "old" and reposts them all (requiring Stratics to have to delete all the repeats).

So what you're saying is....The machine threat doesn't come from Stratics's news-bot, but from EA-Mythic's RSS bot?

My God, we should have seen it all the time. All the clues were there.
