Nowhere? lol...

Seriously. It is relatively easy to piece together a 100% LRC suit. Most players sell crap ones (not good resists) but you will have reg. free casting. Other than that, I always did my reg. hunting around Haven when it existed.

Thank you for the reply, but an LRC suit does me no good for alchemy and inscription.

I used to gather them around the Trinsic moongate myself. Good pickings there usually. Another good source is savage shaman, they drop a bag of regs when they die.

most people who need large amounts of regs for skill training just raise the money to buy in bulk from a vendor. Its a lot quicker to work a couple dozen champ spawns for reg money than it is to get the regs themselves.

But if you want to get them without spending money, kill evil mage lords in one of the dungeon spawns. slow but sure.

Only someone thats cheap, and gets bored easily would know the answer to this question. I bet Balka knows!!!

Pick up Reagents
I still pick up every reagent I see, swamps are great for mandrake and bloodmoss. Trinsic and Minoc gate are pretty good. I believe the city of Moonglow too.

If your looking at things that are more entertaining than walking around picking crap off the ground..
Monster Hunting
- Liches for necro regs.
- Evil Mages in Shame (the ones that drop blue sandal) for normal reagents. Level 3 has a large mage tower with a bunch of them in there, but can be rough for a newer character. Level 5 just west of the entrance has a small air elemental spawn and a single spawn tower thats I use often.
- Dread spiders for spiders silk
- Gazers for nightshade (if your working alchemy and poison its great!)

Treasure Maps!
If you feel like working cartography and lock picking tmaps are still one of the best ways to collect reagents fairly fast. Along with the spawn you'll get a handful of necro regs!

Don't forget the hag quest (Witch's Apprentice) Classic-style quest.

You get 30 of each mage reg AND a level 1-4 map to do for MORE regs.

if your not short on gold you can buy up the vendors around Britiannia. They respawn evert 20 minutes (or so) and each time they respawn double up to 999.

You could also look for faction vendors. This is in Fel so it is a bit more dangerous but the vendors are at banks for easier shopping, and the price for regs is either 2 or 3 each. The faction can be built up in the same way as regular vendors to a max of 999.

Another good source of regs at extremely low levels are the spectral spellbinders you can find in Old Haven. It's great for a newbie mage, because they're easy kills, and gain skill well up to around 50 or 55 before it slows down.

I tried my hand at selling bulk regs for a while, and the best method I found was keeping a runebook for fel mage and alchemy shops. Just watch the prices, because the prices at different shops will vary wildly from fel city to fel city, and even between tram and fel, I think based on faction control. Having the runebook lessens the inherent risk in being in fel; i hardly ever saw anyone at those shops

Poison eles are a great source for nightshade. If you hunt the one that spawns in Shame, there are a bunch of evil mages very close by that also drop regs.

Rune beetles also drop a fair amount of regs, as do onis, revenant lions, and bake kitsune. The onis, revenant lions, and bake kitsune drop a lot of necro regs.

Mummies are a good source for garlic and water eles are a good source for black pearl. Drakes drop regs too. You can hit up the water eles and drakes and wyverns in the north corner of the main floor of destard.

Also, check the Hunter's Guide database on Stratics here: http://uo.stratics.com/database/search.php?db_content=hunters. Type in the kind of reagent you want to find as loot in the Loot field and see what comes up! (I forgot all the stuff orc bombers drop. LOL)

Since spellbinders have already been mentioned, the savage shamans give a bag of regs too. Plus you can collect the tribal berries at the same time. Doh, someone mentioned that already too...

There's also treasure chests and green thorns.

Alternatively, if you want some excitement, do Kaldun puzzles in T2A Felucca. If they still exist. Personally I'd never done them.

For necro regs, liches gives tons of them.

For picking up regs, my fav area when I started out was the area just south of Lycaeum (sp?). Keeps popping up nicely in a line. But the spawn has been changed and turned down a lot.
