What makes a great weapon?

I'm bored so I was wondering. What would be considered a great weapon for different classes or playstyle? We know the sampire in PVM would include at minimum ML & SL then depending on the weapon SSI, additional pluses would be DI, HLD, HLA. How about a PVP warrior what attributes? Archer? Other hybrid templates?

for my abc archer and to go with my suit I would like:
bow/xbow with 40ssi
50 hit fireball or lightning
velocity of 50
mana leech 50 or as close as possible I think max for this ssi is like 40 not sure
stamina leech 50
thats my 5 mods I have di built in to suit! hld and hci I can get from other jewels /armour etc
balance would be exceptable to switch with any but ssi

I thought about imbuing this composite bow once SA is out and build a necro archer for pvp around it. It currently has 30SS and damage is split 40% Fire 60% Poison. I was thinking of adding fireball, balanced, not sure on the 5th mod. Moving shot, armor ignore and the effects of corpse skin sound deadly.

Priority 1: SSI
Priority 2: Hit spell effect
Then there are two different paths.
Path 1: Balanced, hit lower defense/hit chance increase
Path 2: Velocity, hit lower defense/hit chance increase

mana leech is nice too.

I have a katana with hit lower attack, hit lightning and swing speed increase and FC1 that serves me very well. The other, useless, mod is troll slayer.

I have a bokuto with HLD and HLA and HCI which is also very good. I prefer the katana.

I have an executioner's axe with SSI, hit fireball and HCI which is good until I start running out of stamina, which happens every fight (I use it mostly for bleeds).

I have a hatchet with hit lightning, stamina leech, hit lower defense and damage increase (have to include that since it isn't a crafted item) which is VERY effective indeed.

But it's different for each weapon. An ornate axe without SSI, for example, is pretty much useless. But a kryss with SSI has a wasted mod unless someone's stats require it (i.e. low dex).

PvP:

SSI(use the chart to work out how muc...1.5s pretty much a minimum requirement)
Hit spell(fireball better on mages, lighting hits harder and my personal preference)
HLA
HLD(If HLD on glasses you can survive without on weap)
HCI
DCI
DI

Its not in any order of requirement...except SS at 1.25-1.5 is a must in all honesty. I personally rate HLD over HLA so i can do more damage faster(if i kill them they cant hurt me!), for that reason i also rate HCI over DCI, but only just.

For in-general PvP, HLD and HCI > HLA and DCI because HLD and HCI is valid against all possible opponents, mage or warrior. HLA and DCI are only effective against warriors (archers and melee fighters).

But it's really nice to have everything.
