Yes.
Only catch would be is if you have a bushido template and want to use evasion. Your evasion is tied into your natural weapon skill. i.e. In your scenario, you would need to have 50 REAL weapon skill in macing to be able to use evasion. But, you could just macro out to your natural weapon, cast evasion and then swap back.

ya i found that out the hard way when i was fighting dread horn earlier today:}
