Question on upcoming enhance-able Cloaks of Corruption

Pursuant to statements made by Draconi, and assuming the schedule has not changed, Cloaks of Corruption will become enhanceable by using Threads in the next Publish.

My question is: Will the enhanced Cloaks, whatever they are called, have durability? Will they be PoF-able? Will they continue to lose Karma for their wearers?

Perhaps this would be a good Five on Friday question, along with the anticipated release date of the Publish and, hopefully, the planned schedule for the continuation of the Warriors of Destiny event cycle.

I would be careful about making assumptions about timetables - last few FoF have commented about things being put on hold for SA.

I would like to know more about the cloaks too. But with SA coming out this summer they probably haven't had much time to do anything else.

Well these events are all related to SA being released. So I would assume that by the release we will have our cloaks

exactly the cloaks are going to be ready before SA is at least that's my understanding when you see the current storyline progress you will know SA is not far off ... that's my opinion!

Only problem with the stacking is that it only stacks by the message it gives. So stacking it might be a little harder than you would think.

They are much easier to farm now than they were during the event.

How do you farm them?

My understanding was....One type you got from killing one type of lost soul; another you got from using the Exorcism spell on one of the souls; and the third....I forget.

I have no Necromancer, so if this is accurate....I can't farm them except for maybe 1 or 2.

Use spirit speak for one, exorcism for another, and kill for the last one.

Oops, yeah I shoulda added that I play necromage.

For me, its much easier to farm now than trying to deal with those dang Ethereal Warriors during the event.

(I carry blackrock so the wisps werent a problem)

Me too. I'm hoping they gain some value along the line somewhere.

Any guess on the amount of threads needed for each cloak? I only have 3 cloaks, and my thread supply is lopsided - 30+ of one kind, 10ish of another, and 3rd type less than 10. Been swapping em in for rubble - maybe I should go back to farming em, because UO will prob cease Mag spirits once enhancing starts ...

Ive been keeping around 10 of each type for each cloak, so i have almost 1500threads across 2houses(not including the almost 50of each type insured...looking that 2other people have insured im gna guess they wont be worth much though. )

Thats 55 skill...Just an FYI...you can get another +10 from the Ossians Grimoire...(spellbook)

Also, chances are....

Threads of Life will give the Cloak an HP Increase stat...

Threads of Fate will give a random Bonus...

Threads of Thought will give a Int. Bonus...

For exorcism you need around 90 skill i believe, but use joat ss for the others while bashing the red ones.

Thats 55 skill...Just an FYI...you can get another +10 from the Ossians Grimoire...(spellbook)

But you can start a fresh character with 50 necro/50 ss, work up a few points of SS and its all good.

But that Grimoire is evil - I'm trying to build an exorcist who doesn't turn to the dark side
