I assume the Blacksmith trainers, but I want to be sure.

Yes smiths. But it is better just to buy form NPC vendors and turn in for quest. Can sell the ingots and use the gold to buy more then they'd make.

I don't follow you. I want to learn how to make Twinkling Scimitars. I need to know who drops the recipe.

NO ONE teaches how to make them. You have to get the Recipe from a Heartwood or Sanctuary (not New Haven) quest, and it is a fairly rare drop. Once you read the recipe, that character knows how to make them (and recipes stay with the reader, even if the skill is stoned off).

You need to read up on recipes. They don't drop in Haven. You get recipes in Heartwood. I think I've received smith recipes from the blacksmith (metal weaver) and the tinker (Trinket) NPC's.

It's late, I misspoke. I meant Heartwood, I am there now. The uoguide page said the metal weavers gave only Bowcrafter recipes. That is what confused me. Thanks

Frankly, most the info on the quests on uoguide was never completed, and a bit of it inaccurate. Most of the time, when I looked at Quests (by name or by NPC), the info was either missing or wrong, half the time.

JC ran into the same issue there, as Stratics did until recently - some items never got completed/updated, because of lack of enthusiasm from contributors. That's an even bigger problem with wikis than it is with more traditional web pages, as it's easier for people using wikis to say "Well, I'll just wait for someone else to do it" and no one does. At least with a conventional page, the location of where the buck stops is pretty well defined (And easier to light a fire under to get underway - or out of the way, if someone isn't pulling their weight).

Stratics has an up to date questing page at http://uo.stratics.com/php-bin/show_content.php?content=30124 - it was written in just the last few weeks, now that we've finally got the volunteers to actually overhaul the entire site.

We had the volunteers before, Basara. Some of the pieces I've gotten live the past few weeks were written months ago. Just no one did anything with them. But.

Now I'm 'driving' this 'ship' and we're on the move. More updates later today, more submissions needed from anyone who has the knowledge and time to write them.
