Devs, when will dreadmare pvp be fixed?

well every day there is talk about how they need to balance things... if your not getting rid of them then give everyone the opportunity to have one...

Everyone did have the opportunity to have one, people didnt take it. I know i was pretty much solo killing that event arc i had a clock and everything set, timing was down...i would tame the dread, kill the vanguard and move on(the blackrock one did take a lil longer!) i only ever saw one other person...and he was a guildy.

At the time everyone said they where crap the cu's are far superior. I loved them from the first "trick" and probably tamed well over 100 of them finding halfway decent ones.

Besides, most dreads have such a shocking fire resist that a corpse exp will hit for about 60(thats 10% of there HP) 2mage necros can easily do enough damage to both slow the dread down AND stop its firebreath from hitting for more than 20.

Wouldn't it just be 10%, since if they are 70 fire they go to 60 fire?
Since your damage represents the 30% above 70 fire resist, lowering fire resist to 60 adds 33% damage in fire.

ok, what about the fact that the necro or mage can debuff your suit? no dexxer can debuff a mages suit. the apples are more for the resist on your suit then they are for the strangle or mortal. bush dexxys can confidence thru the mortal, no biggie, but the explode flamestrike done to a 60's suit is far greater than that of a 70's suit. i eat the apples to take less damage by keeping my suit the way i built it. strangle is easy if you keep you dex up it ticks small hits. dont pancake about apples until we can debuff your suits to 60's. and lets not even go to the mages with incredible dci that cant be hit by max hci, high hld. jesus you have dci on mage weps and spell books that is all but impossible to get thru to hit the mage who has debuffed your suit and casting high damage spells on you whilst you whiff away. and the archers can carry heavy hitting weapons and chug at the same time but dexxers cant have a two hand wep with the same dpm as a heavy or cross bow and still chug, we have to disarm first. balance is a word that doesnt reflect any part of the current pvp system.

Dread warhorse, moving shot chugging archer is impossible to kill by any one template alone.

Ninja tamers that can llama up and run at mounted speed next to their 5 slot dragons.
kinda defeats the whole 5 slot penalty of not being able to ride a mount to begin with.
they lose no speed at all with this template.
Are you REALLY complaining about mages being able to curse you?? Are you seriously attempting to say mages are overpowered somehow? Right now, mages are the WORST template to play 1v1, by FAR.
So we can curse you for X amount of mana. Well it is only applied for 6 seconds, because you can use your faction bandaids and your apples almost instantly. Apples are far overpowered right now, Curse, strangle, corpse skin, all cost plenty of mana and take plenty of time to cast, and, more importantly, are all interruptible. You can get rid of ALL of these spells at once by hitting a macro that takes no time, is uninterpretable, and takes NO mana. So explain to me again how that is balanced? The only ones saying apples/aids timers are good are in regards to countering archers using mortal wound. I think something else needs to be done about that so that mages can have some semblance of balance in the game again, without having to ride a dread warhorse or tow a greater dragon.

Simple, Mortal has a cooldown of 15-30seconds. Apples 1minute.
Apples really should stay as they are. I think that's also too long of a mortal cool down.

I think mortal should have a cool down the same as stun punch.

I forget how long mortal lasts, is it 5 or 3 seconds? Either way, it should be 5 seconds from the end of the last mortal (if the first one is appled it shouldn't be able to be used until 5 seconds after it would have normally ended, or 8/10 seconds since inflicted).

Ok i can see your point on the mortal cooldown, and i can see your point of apples but, to keep apples as they are, the casting speed of remove curse needs to be adressed.

Combine apples, Faction aids and 4/6remove curse = overpowered

I actually do think apples do need looking into, and i of course use them on all my temps(cept crafter of course), pets need balancing too, so do the triple hit balanced bows, maybe even bring chiv casting down a peg.

Bring all templates in line with each other basically, why do pallys cast at 4/6 and mages 2/6?

Why can archers hit for 35 +2specials bringing totals to what...57ish?? when all other dexxers can hit one 35 and one special for a 46 hit(not huge but still it all counts thats almost 10%of some people hp)

Why can pets cast from 2screens away and mages cant???(firebreath isnt actually that bad once you know its coming, prep a heal and run, also if you take down the HP of the drag with ev's etc less damage)

Why can all templates with 0skill dedicated remove curse every 7s? 15if non factions, and on that why with 0skill can all templates negate paralyse?
SO TRUE!!!

Sad thing is, this seems to be obvious to me and you and a few others, but not to everyone.

I don't think it's overpowered. They are obviously investing a lot into their defense.

They should be a tougher kill.

It's not like their offense is all that great.

I can't remember the last time a 4/6 dexer beat me in a 1 v 1.

Take ALL that combine them together, you get today's most ******** gimp template that many pvper wannabes are running today... Dread Tamer Archer...

I have a 111 month old account so going and coming back isn't an issue. As I stated above I had to leave for a couple months for a work reason. During that time I missed the chance to acquire one. Thats fine I wasn't around. I am not trying to complain just stating if there was a balance issue going on maybe making them a fixed feature like the super drags may be a good idea.Tried to buy one and they are such a hot commodity that I was unable to find one. Either way I still enjoy my other temps and will happily stick with them.

umm... because chivalry doesn't have the combo potential and high-damage spells that magery has?

Mages never miss yeah they fizzel now and then but a good mage rarely does so stfu mages are weak screw that they the strongest pack characters around 2+ mages going out together can Brutalize anything.

Look what i am saying is it is always situational and any Player can learn to deal with almost any nasty tactic opponents throw at them.

Quit your beefing here while ya wait out your stat loss clearly your all the loosers of the last fight and just want to keep your old template godly ADAPT OR DIE SURVIVAL OF THE Fittest ~!

In keeping with the original poster yes pets should be looked at for pvp the breath is a bit much~~~60dmg wow followed by a flame strike and a energy bolt does over 100 in like 1.5 seconds to ppl and off screen most the time since everyone runs from them.

If you dont bring a box to PvP in current state of PvP you are asking for it. And oh btw many mages arent necromages. And a lot of mages are running necro why? could it be an indication of the power of a traditional mage being too low? In that case shouldnt mages be buffed a bit?

Maybe it's just me, a bad/good/decent/godly mage I dont care still can NOT control whether or not they are going to be interrupted or not. In UO, and many other games out there uses this little thing called RNG (Random Number Generator). Chances are you might whiff on a bad mage 10 times in a row, or hit (and interrupt) a great mage 10 times in a row.

I am sorry but whiffing/fizzles/interruptions has NOTHING TO DO with real life player skill.
