I'm sure this has been thought of but what if all accounts were allowed 2 total houses? one on a non siege shard and one on siege/mugen? Im sure more people would like siege if they had a nice home to hide in from pks

Idea to boost siege's population

What we don't want to see is players plop down a house and then never play while the house stays there forever.
The next thing we don't want to see is those stupid businesses move in that buy/sell homes (often for RL cash and especially prime real-estate) when they really have nothing invested in our shard.
Honestly, a lot of us would prefer it if loot from PvM would be properly fixed, before anything like this is considered.
If loot from PvM was fixed (as well as adding 10x's the charges to runic kits) Siege would be a lot more lively as players would be more apt to try new templates that **dont** require hiding and stealth... and players would be out hunting **often** and there would be incentives to just go out and play... rather than watch over your shoulder every 2 seconds.

Maybe make the second house have to be refreshed like they used to be or they decay?

That's what I'd like to see. Siege has old-style ruleset... if you have two house, one must be marked as primary... which will require you to refresh whichever other house. If you play primarily on Siege/Mugen, then that would be your primary, and you wouldn't have to refresh it. The other would have to be refreshed manually, even if it's on a prodo shard.
Sure would put a kink in the tails of us idocers, though!

THIS is exactly it. What you would end up with is a shard full of houses, and everyone playing somewhere else.Not be be negative but if people wanted to play Siege they would.
