Does anyone know what the story is with all the ogre corpses that have lain around Serpent's Hold forever? They must smell wonderfully by now!

Was from a quest back in 98-99.. think they were the 'boss' monsters..

Theres some in Bucs Den/Fel too.

Not shure why they havent decayed yet lol. Oh well..

I think it was more like 2000 - 2001, I was playing when they weren't there, and when they suddenly appeared.

Unless I am calculating my start date wrong.

I remember someone telling me that they had been super strong and had metal chests in them - some had vanquishing weapons.

I was crushed that I missed it - Vanquishing weapons! Oh how I searched forever for a silver vanq!

Not shure about a write up.. I was playing on and off at the time they appeared.. but i swear it was around summer of 99?

Id check out the stories section of stratics. Prolly be the best bet.
