I'm really liking people walking around in "death shrods"

I'm guessing that if you use Bleach or something on the Replica shrouds, it turns into a death robe.

What this leads to is people walking around Luna in what appear at first to be death shrouds.

The effect, while disconcerting, is quite neat.

:)

Too bad there isn't more role-playing going on these days; people could get a lot of mileage out of that. Ghosts; low-level undead warriors; etc.

ps: What IS it that takes away the color? Is it Bleach, or is it something else? How do you get it?

The cheap way to do it is with bleach, but bleach doesn't give the right color.

There is a tokuno minor dye which does give the right color, but I couldn't find it when I looked for it.

So I sold my bleached cloak for a boat load of gold. It's good enough for most people.

Its easier to get the right color now that you can use a regular dye tub on them.

Buy a dye tub from the tailor and not hit it with any dye. If the cloth ones can target. Not tried fore I need a natural for display.

Dunno whether a normal dye tub would have the same effect, but it'll cost you pocket change to try one. Bleach costs a fair bit more, but the real downer is you can only get it once per character.

Personally I reckon they should lift that restriction and just let us get as much as we want. I saw a guy who'd bleached his entire valourite suit of plate. Looked pretty awesome.

I like that, too, have seen a full plate "iron" suit.

It's odd when the commonplace becomes exotic.. usually happens after the exotic becomes commonplace. :D
