Dont really need SSI if you keep your dex above 150 youl be swining at max, if it drops youl still be at 1.5s, also if you decided to burn the gems and get the 5ssi ring youll be at max swing pretty much all the time.

I would say with that kind of weapon you can't really afford to be swinging at any less than 1.25. Okay with an Orny you won't always be swinging at max, but your doing massive damage to make up for it.

When your up against the Dark Father, Dreadhorn or other creatures like that use powerful curses, its hard to remain at 150 stam which is something you always need to bear in mind when choosing a weapon.

No SSI would put me off of paying even a couple of mill for a weapon like this which is unfortuate because it has all the other required mods in abundance.

I would be more inclined to go for something with good stam and mana leech with ssi than the above.

Yup. It's impossible to maintain 150+ stamina against any kind of high end creature. Even with high HSL on a wep, there will be plenty of times that it doesn't go off, leaving you in a bad spot. Having SSI not only keeps you at max swing speed, but you stay at max swing speed longer because it takes a lot more damage to drop even 1 tick, which gives you the extra time you need in those situations where the HSL doesn't go off.

If you want to solo DOOM, you will require three weapons...

1) Demon Slayer
2) Undead Slayer
3) 100% Cold or 100% Fire Weapon

For other properties (in order of importance)
1) Hit Mana Leech 50% or higher
2) Hit Stamina Leech 40% or higher
3) Hit Spell (something with Hit Dispel can help against the Revenants)

These weapons can be crafted (but not guaranteed) with an Agapite Runic hammer, which can be had for 7 million on my shard. I usually sell weapons like the one shown for 100K-500K. If you are on Pacific or Napa, I can probably hook you up.

SSI is nice on a Twinkler, but I'm not as inclined to consider it a must-have as Connor is. I usually run with 161 Stamina. As long as I have high HSL on my weapon, I rarely fall below 150. I occassionally use Divine Fury as a backup.

I wouldn't say the above three are required to solo doom...

Demon Slayer - Most def nice, not essential. Getting your hands on a good one will be tricky!
Undead Slayer - No need for it, just use the Conjurer's Trinket
100% Cold or Fire - Not essential as you will have Chiv and can cast Concecrete weapon where necessary

Yeah, true. I still like a 100% Cold/Fire weapon so I don't have to waste mana on CS.

I mainly only do doom with my sampire. If you keep on top of things with divine fury you don't need stamina leech. I regularly solo doom with ease with the following.

1) Conj. trinket - for undead
2) mage's rune blade - crafted using bronze runic
- Demon Slayer
- 51% mana leach
- FC 2
- DI 40%

3) Twink scimitar with stamina / mana / ssi 20% for the 2 non demon mini bosses.

4) +12 chiv ring with 15 dci adn 10 hci 6 dex 20 DI

5) In doom have 100 resist!

Might not find a ring this good but any +skills ring to get chiv up to above 70 so you can insta dispel reverants. Pre getting this ring they would kill me when solo'ing df. Can't dispel very well at 60 chiv.

When I crit lightning attack on DF I hit for about 170, regular hits are around 110. This means 1 hit fills most of my health, I have 30 mana and never come close to running out spamming divine fury and all other chiv spells as needed.

yea, but it dispels 50% of the time and WW for whatever reason doesnt attack even if its beside you. Also, you have to switch weapons which is a pain, lowers damage output (leeching). Dispel evil at 70 get rid of it everytime for almost no mana.
