I've been trying to build a whammy suit, but I keep failing. What do I need for one? I have most of the arties and alot of money so I can buy what I need.

Actually, a whammy is much less dependant on suits as other templates imo. Good resists is paramount, the rest depends on the balance on your stats. Low dex = get stamina increase, low int = get MR/LMC etc.

Throw in lrc if you don't want to carry regs, but the only reg I carry most is pig iron, for curse weapon.

I'm not 100% sure that I'm correct, but I believe its a samurai/necro template that runs in wraith form.

I think you are right. I get the nicknames confused that folks come up with for skill combinations. Personnaly I don't use them be cause most of them sound silly (like Whammy, reminds me of Champ from Anchorman *ponders what template combination could be called "The Octagon"*).

A Sampire is a samurai/necro that runs in Vampire form.

How are you defining failure? Do you die alot? All you should need is solid resists and some stamina increase as a bonus. What are you fighting that causes you to fail? If it is a monster with low mana, that might be your problem. You cannot leach what is not there.

LRC is nice to have, but you wont need many reagents unless you are casting alot of Necromancy spells (which if you are, consider becoming a necromancer/mage and build to suit). You should focus on killing more with your weapon than casting, and use the necromancy spell that will keep you alive. Pig Iron is the only reagent needed for Curse Weapon. Curse Weapon combined with Confidence (from Bushido) can heal through most anything (including through mortal and poison). Carry some Wraith Form scrolls if you want to transform back and forth.

I hope my shot in the dark helps...

Add some Arcane Clothing to supplement a lack of LRC.

Yup,

Whammy = samurai that uses wraith form (also implies the character has enough necro to cast wraith form and curse weapon)

Sammy/sampire = samurai that uses vampire form (also implies the character has enough necro to cast vampire form)

Don't know about the Octogon, but Sammy/Whammy really does sound better than Necropai (necro paladin samurai) or Samcrodin (samurai necro paladin) heheh

Wraith-from samurai is such a mouthful to speak or type...

Edit: Oh, regarding your siggy - "Oh~Oh~Oh~Oh~Stayin alive~Stayin alive~" :D
